Debating on whether to trade in Maxima or do body restoration work (porn inside)

My 2010 Maxima has passed the warranty coverage time frame but for the most part is in excellent condition engine wise. I bought it used so there are some dings & scratches along the body & other nuances like the back-up camera occasionally fizzing out & one of the car charger ports being very loose causing connectivity issues for anything plugged in. I'm not sure how much it will cost to fix the camera & charger and am also unsure whether it's worth it to paint or wrap the car either. I'm considering trading in my Maxima for either an upgraded newer model or a similar car that provides power and modern sophisticated appeal but is still sporty while it still has good value. BGOL brethren have any of you ever been in a similar dilemma or have any suggestions? Any cars on par with the Maxima I should consider?

As promised here's the porn.

You could probably sell it right now for 10-12. This is a good time to sell a car because of "tax refunds", floating around. Trading it in is gonna get you like 8,000, maybe 10,000. However if you owe anything on that car it will be tacked on to the price of your new car. It's not smart to pay interest on an old debt. The back up camera and charging issues can be fixed for about 20 bucks if you do it yourself. Shouldn't take more than an hour with the proper tools, and the proper tools for that job shouldn't cost over 10 bucks. FIX IT YOURSELF!!!! Save you about 300 bucks.
Your going to have to start looking at luxury brands or and old school to get more power. You could get a Dodge but they have transmission issues. Maybe a 2005-2008 Lexus GS 400 series would be a good fit. You may be able to find one for 18,000, (2008).
This may be too old for you but a 2000-20004 Lexus GS 430 is theeee shit. A V8 with 300 horses and 325 ft per lb of torque. 10,000 in excellent condition for an 03. Will last forever. You can't kill a Toyota.

IN A LEXUS MY NIGGA!!!!!!!!!!

Great suggestions. I'll look into what I can do to have the camera fixed. What are your thoughts on paint jobs vs vinyl wraps to take address the scratches on the body. Unfortunately they were there before I got the car with maybe one afterwards that most likely came courtesy of an asshole in a parking lot that didn't know how to properly open a car door

can't kill a Toyota but the repairs of a Lexus will kill you. I know because I just got rid of a Lex a week ago...I went right back in to a Toyota of course..'

Anyone who charges you extra for a Lexus is a crooked mechanic. Unless we're talking about an engine or a transmission, which you should make sure is in good condition when you buy any used car, right?

As far as paint vs vinyl wraps that's up to you. Vinyl wraps are less expensive but nothing beats a good paint job. However a good paint job on that car is about 2000 bucks. Where as a vinyl wrap would be 500-1000. The paint job includes all the dents and dings pulled out. Basically the paint job would make the car look brand new, but you will pay for it.

The cheapest option would be to get it a proper detail job where they will buff, paint correct and wax. Will cost a couple hundred but make sure you get it done at a good shop and not one of those mobile services

Detail that shit and keep the car bruh especially if it's mechanically sound and not giving u any trouble.
