Props to Tate and McMann. Tate definitely has heart. She was being outclassed in the striking exchanges & of course wrestling pedigree-wise, but the latter half of the 2nd round and the 3rd were solid for her securing the sub' attempt & also controlling the ground. Like her or not ... you've gotta respect her. She's hardly, if ever (Tate), in boring fights. Good prelim main event leading into the PPV card.

Exactly. She isn't the most skilled or technical, but fuck it ... she's a competitor. She damn near had her arm torn off by Ronda back in Strikeforce (2012 or so). And she held her own & made it interesting in their rematch in late-Dec' 2013 on the 168 PPV card just prior to Silva-Weidman II.
