This was before the game...

Over their 6-game win streak, @cavs have a team-best 97.2 Defensive Rating w/ Mozgov on the floor (111.4 w/ him off; team's 2nd worst)

Now lets look at the stats....
Irving 13-23 38pts 6-10 3pts including 16pts in the 4th quarter points in a win...

Thompson 13-27 30pts, 4-10 3pts zero points the final quarter including missing two big shots that could have tied or put them in the lead... in a loss.. Yet you made a thread about this dude and dissed Irving for his game..
For this Brown Shit you get the Donkey of the Day..

Kyrie's performance was actually an anomaly as was Klay thomspon's Kyrie is the point guard but doesn't get assists nor does he make anyone on the team better. he doesn't particularly rebound good and his defense is average. When lebron hurt and everyone else was healthy he did not take over or lead the team to any victories.

Kyrie is the mookie blaylock of the cavaliers organization.

Never said one is better than the other, all I said is duke has to be on crack to say Irving was had a bad game today... But to claim Irving is Mookie Blaylock :smh: did dude even make the allstar much less win a MVP in the game.... Plus if you compare Thompson and Kyrie stats for this year they are very similar in spite of Irving and the Cavs slow adjustment period..

Cavs defense has definitely picked up. Survived the bad JR. Love was off. Mozgov couldn't even finish. Thompson just did his Rodman impression with no offense.

Still won.

They got a tough one tonight tho... Portland coming to town

There is a difference between being a jump shooter team and one that can shoot the jumper..Golden State is a great jump shooting team, perhaps one of the best ever, however if the defense is able to disrupt the shooters rhythm, the way the Bulls did, they look clueless, there is no plan b. With the Cavs, it took a while, but last night they definitely shifted to plans b and c.
If you check out the teams that won it all, the Heat, Spurs and Mavs, they may not have been the best shooters, or best defense or best running and gun teams, but they all did one thing that this Cavs team seem to do well, that's be able to adjust while having very few glaring weaknesses.
Tonight Portland comes in with a unique set of problems, especially when L.A. gets on a roll, let's see how this new Cavs adjust to the task at hand.

One combo I would like to see them work on, something they may need vs the bigger backcourt teams, that's a unit of T-Mo, LeBron and Thompson that should be their best defensive base.

Yeah, I agree. But even if they win 101-86 today, cats will still say they are feasting on cupcakes for this win streak. They'll forget the OKCs, Clippers, and Portland games.

Yeah, I like the fact that T-Mo fits well with both Love and Thompson. Shump wasn't much offensively last night, but his hustle on the defense is something you can't put in the box score.

The defense is enough to hold on until someone on the Cavs gets hot. And with Lebron, Kyrie, Love, and Smith, someone is bound to start giving the other team the business.

What I like about these recent games is the CONSISTENCY. Ball movement and defense have been consistent. Also, they haven't been panicking when things go wrong.

Go worry about the 20-25 Heat. :lol:At least you guys finally got a big man who can rebound. 20 and fucking 25... :smh: Some stat padding mofos....

Funny when Bron left u fags u niggas were basement dwellers last place in the east. Bron left the heat and we still a playoff team, Whiteside better than any of the cavs big men..

Didn't we beat u niggas asses in Xmas day? Where that Wade gif yankin it on love?

One is lighting up the league on the team with the best record
the other is Kyrie couldn't carry the team when the king was down Irving.

they got a few months then the playoffs and the fun starts

plus you guys traded away wiggins but have been playing better when love has no impact lol.

a couple 3's here and there and some cheap rebounds but he ain't defending crap

the russian and thompson are down there earning their checks and making the difference for this team id' trade him to l.a. for swaggy p since you guys seem to do a good job with middle talented guards who haven't improved since they got in the nba (j.r. smith)

I can't wait until the playoffs , mofos think Love is a liability now? Mannnn oh man the great stat padder gonna get exposed awfully, he will be the sole reason along with JR Stiff why they will get bounced in the first to second round

Can't wait

Love is a important component to the Cavs, he is a tool that is used when the situation calls for. He is a situation role player, something most championship teams need, remember real teams are way different than fantasy teams. Funny you mention Wiggins snd how great he is, then why is it they have a way worse record than last year with him playing with better talent, woops didn't 6th ink that put, and what happened to your theory, that it's easier to pad stats on a losing team...Love can stretch the floor, keeps the defense honest, even if he doesn't score, a great rebounder great passer and if the defense trues to overload on LeBron and Irving, on any given night he is capable of dropping 30pts.
A team needs only 2 superstars, a versatile situational player and roll players, players like Wiggins and Swaggy P need high touches to be voulable, touches that aren't available on this Cavs team.

You mean the way Bosh was held pointless in the close out vs the Spurs. ...

When the Heat won, Bosh had zero , count it, zero points, and Wade, had zero 2nd half points, snd fools have the nerve telling LeBron your welcome. . Lol

Moving the goal post I see.. You said Bosh was held scoreless in the close out game

Now you trying to clean it up they didn't score in the 2nd half lmaoooo

Dude stop it..

Love is a overrated non defensive stat padding cac.. It's that simple
