My God that's the illest house I've ever seen!!!! This is why I left back east. No matter how nice a place is you still have shitty weather and you'll share walls. Fuck that shit. Why spend millions on a crib and have neighbors in your building when you can come to California have greenery, yard and open space. None of that paying 500k extra because you can see the tip of the Empire State Building. Foh with that madness.

Trousdale estates sits 10 mins from the best diningin LA, 5 minutes off sunset strip, 30 mins to Van Nuys airport & lax, 20 mins to Santa Monica airport, 25 mins to the coast. Not to mention the top end real estate market is seeing tremendous sales numbers due to foreign buyers parking money here.

Jeff Greene who probably traded the subprime crash 2nd best after John Paulson has listed his spread a couple blocks over for $195 million. 63,000 sq ft with a vineyard smack in the middle of Beverly Hills.

The top end of the R/E is on fire in LA. Chinese, Ukrainian, & Middle Eastern buyers parking serious money in real estate.

Recent buyers. Puff paid $39 mill in Holmby Hills, Sean Parker from Facebook paid $55 mill for Ellen's Holmby. Dre paid $45 mill in Brentwood. LA is seeing a whole bunch of Central Park NY numbers.

All the reasons why I would never buy that house for that type of bread... Five minutes away from all of the coked out, whored out, and smoked out weirdos from the strip, close enough to inhale the pristine carbon dioxide filled LA smog. Bonus... You up high enough to enough the skyline and the fabled LA aurora in the evening.

CNG buses & taxi's leave way more clear days than in times past. Liberals are good for something. Dont hate on the city of the city.

And you would have missed the spec builders eyes & money who profited greatly. That property sold for 12.6 in 2012, rebuilt probably for $25-30 mill plus holding & pocketed eeeasily $20-30 mill in 2 years. Double up, not bad. Oh, its a printed out bubble again. Including the fact the LA is very popular with the Chinese, Russkies, & UAE crowd who are pushing comps up mightedly. Techies are invading the beach. Shit is flowing right now.

Its at least 8 properties that I am aware of that are pocket listed for over $100 mill including the godfather house. Only 1 is on MLS. Thats Jeff Greene's mega house with a vineyard in the middle of B. Hills. Foreigners are flossin & parking big money here. And sellers are trying to cash out. Big comps have ripple effects.

Its houses in the westside that are listed for 3 & 400% over what they listed for before 08-09. Printing money benefited the investor class. Because they are selling.

Its a bubble when houses in Arcadia are listed for 8 figures. All Chinese & Korean.

Just had the coldest days through New Years since 06, that left snow in Temecula. Today it was 80 again with clear skys.
