The other problem is how the laws are written. I keep harping on the laws because I feel as if they are not fair, especially to people of color.

Think about this for a second. If a cop came up to you and started to commit an assault, there is not a prevision in the law that would allow you to defend yourself.

A cop could beat you upside your head repeatedly and if you tried to defend yourself they could use deadly force but you could not. Cops take advantage of this
