That was pretty cool
whatd you expect from a production of The Asylum(who now have signed a television series production deal with SyFy)
Walking Dead was first and has a cult-like base of comic worshipers. I hope more people give this show a chance. Walking Dead can put you to sleep at times. A lot of the hype is people trying to compare the show to the comics.
This show clearly moves along at a better pace while developing characters. Already have two back stories. And yes, it does have comedy in the shit.
But just the looters on the road in the last episode are enough to give Walking Dead a run for its money(the kid shit was great). Walking Dead would have took half an episode to build up to that.
This show continues to come up with nice ideas and surprises. Hope this isn't a bait-and-switch and then they do a Walking Dead pace deal.

I am a huge Walking Dead fan but I have to agree. Z nation is doing it better.
You are 100% correct that the Walking Dead would have taken 3 episodes to explain what Z nation does in one. The pacing and moving the story forward is much better in Z nation.

Episode caught me off guard with the death. I think not having a comic outline will allow for more surprises, although it does hurt the popularity of the show.
If this show had Walking Dead's pace, I'd have to pass.

They do spend a lot of time on some things that should be implied. That Sophia thing was brutal. But they do somehow manage to make up for it. I like the twist on Terminus they revealed last week.
Last season, I found my self skipping weeks so I could catch episodes back-to-back. They usually have a slow then fast episode.
As for Z-nation, that vaccine is looking like it is just slowing shit down. Ol boy on the verge of cracking up.
After 5 episodes in I would say z nation is comjng for the walking deads neck... its more fast moving than twd... its still new.. but so far im impressed. . I dont mind having 2 quality zombie shows on at once tho.. that black chick has big as titties n that white boy trying to hit that.. oh yeah doc and 10k is my niggas lol great characters

Z nation did the cannibalism better. Was kind of disappointed in how TWD portrayed their cannibalism story but the show was good.

I like the twist in Walking Dead, but Z Nation go to the point quick as fuck. The 'meat locker' was fucked up.
The cannibalism in Z-nation can happen at any time since you can't eat anything dead. No hunting. Just shit that died before the zombie shit jumped off.
Damn I did not know that you could not eat anything dead. So that is why they are always eating fruit and veggies.

In this show, you have to keep what you are eating alive and strip off pieces. Could make for an interesting future storyline if they run out of food. They have a cannibal with them.
They talked about a black summer or some type of event that was related to the food(perhaps the virus mutated). They probably will expand more on it if they don't cancel this show(I'd be pissed, I like two options for zombie series).

i wouldnt compare it to walking dead cuz its completely different premise... special effects are pretty good, better then walking dead to me (in some ways) because i think they use less cgi, cgi is cool but i prefer old school effects..... i think walking dead uses mostly cgi now.... and the acting is pretty pathetic...
the resurection episode was pretty good... dudes eating her out and they all havent bathed in days
id jump in front of a bullet too and why all that hype about her husband but show him dead at the end without giving her closure honestly im walking dead all day, you cant beat the story and acting..... but i love zombies so ill continue to watch this nonsense.... i wonder is this gonna be one of those shows where they continue to cycle in and out characters... since no one is safe....

It may improve in the next season if they're like The Walking Dead as far as production goes. That herd of Zombies is crazy. Kellita smith is still a fine MoFo.
