thanks...I think that demo was only available to those who purchased GOW...I haven't seen a demo for the game on PSN tho...I asked about the timed demos cuz I read somewhere that PS4 would offer demos for every available game (more like a timed version of the game where you can play like the 1st hour or some shit)...it may have been an old article tho and something they had hoped for or planned but haven't worked out as yet

The link to the digital version. Also includes an EXTRA 300k as a digital only bonus if you pre-order before Nov 3.
EDIT: Let me rephrase, you get the $1,000,000 which is 500k for single player and online each, and as a digital exclusive bonus you get another 300k for online.

Really Leroy? You still haven't made your mind up.

i guess you're not familiar w/ me...it took me long as hell to settle on a tablet when i was deciding which one to get...when it comes to spending $$$ i take my sweet time deciding...then whichever one i decide to get i'll complain about it for a few weeks...but once i get used to it i'll be "in love" w/ it  i'm leaning toward xb1 but na i really haven't decided yet...the xb1 as of now offers more of what i want as far as what i need my console to do but i'm going to have to deal w/ a completely new interface/controller which could be good/bad depending on whether or not i get accustomed to it...i'm just gonna wait for a few more weeks and see if ps4 adds a media player but w/o one then it's half as "useless" to me...i spend as much time if not more watching dled movies on my ps3 as i do playing videogames

Digital download is for suckers.

For a game your gonna be playing every week , digital is the way to go
Plus you can always rebuy the game 5 years from now for $10 if you want the disc in your closet

For games you only play a few times like nba2k & madden I would go for disc
Cause really if you have nba2k15 are you really ever going to play nba2k14 ?
No you can sell it or give the game away

call me old school but i want my game in my hands on a disc.... you never know when shyt is down and u cant access something.... plus them hard drives fill up maaad quick now... my xbox 1 was 70% full after a few months.... these games are huge and require you to install on the hard drive even if you have the disc....

I just wanna play the damn heists...

Yeah these games are going to be big as fuck. They will eat up your hard drive, they'll take forever to download and if you have a bandwidth cap on your internet, it'll eat that shit, too.

Might as well buy the disk and save your hard drive space for when they do those Games with Gold.

On the ps4 the disc will install the entire game to the hard drive

So if gta 5 is 50gb digital when you buy the disc 50gb will be installed no matter what

So hard drive space is not a factor on disc vs digital

And yes if you have slow ass internet of course you should get the disc
Me I get 100mb download speeds with comcast

And I have a 2tb drive on my ps4 , which I recommend every one should get

Especially with all the free dlc they give us. Then the story dlc will be about 2 gigs probably.

I know GTA is a mandatory install, but is it mandatory to install any or all of the games on the One, or is it still just a recommendation?

I guess that makes sense with the high res and framerates and shit

Well there goes my argument

With new games they let you preload 2 days before it goes live , u can start downloading gta 5 on 11/16

Apparently a German Website managed to add pre-order the game on PS4 (before it was quickly removed). The pre-order date was the 4th of November (2 weeks BEFORE the 18th).
Could this be the 'something special' Rockstar mentioned for PS4 users?

:eek::eek:

That might be why you have to preorder before 11/3 on on psn

I just dropped my $60 on it. I have it on PS3 but I am getting it for the PS4. Does it come with anything more than the $500K> The bonus pack I got with the special edition last time was guns in every ammunation. Anything like that?

have you ever rolled w/ the bgol crew on the ps3 side?

Whats it going to be, Bk?

i'm def not getting a ps4...it's gonna be xb1 or probably nothing...w/ the lack of good games on next gen so far (imo) i have to decide if it's worth paying $500-$600 (system...game...extra controller...online fee) to play gta 5...i like the better grafx...30 players in a session is insane and i like the thought of rolling w/ the xbox crew but i'm wondering if the experience is gonna be that much different than it is now to justify all that $$$ for essentially one game that i've already played...idk i might just wait about another year for next gen to pop off...i'll wait til gta 5 comes out and hear what folks have to say about it in comparison to the game as it is now...then i'll decide

As much as I hate the series call of duty advanced warfare/sledgehammer games is doing it right.

If you buy the digital copy of the game on current gen you can upgrade to the next gen version and download it digitally before March 2015 FOR FREE.

I know it's a different game but these companies should take note..... ESPECIALLY Rockstar

I’m just out here working hard every single day, just trying to be the best poster I can be....

Not paying full price for this shit. Even though I got the 360 version free I'm not paying $59.99.

GTA 5 Next Gen - 5 Reasons You'll Buy It Again

1. GTA 5 is one heck of a wild ride

Many gamers beat Grand Theft Auto 5's main story mode, but that doesn't mean they can't go back and have fun. Whether it's causing chaos on the freeway, getting into gun battles or simply exploring the city in an aerial vehicle (while outrunning soldiers on the ground), there's a ton of stuff to enjoy. Besides, there’s bound to be a side mission (or 20) that people missed the first time through.

2. Grand Theft Auto Online is still insanely good

Rockstar Games opened up a vast component alongside GTA 5 when it released Grand Theft Auto Online, a multiplayer world where you create your own shootouts, events and more. While a little buggy at first, the online experience received some much-needed development love, and should be even better on higher-end machines like the PC and Microsoft and Sony's consoles. Make sure you have your hierarchy in order, because you’ll need every club member you can get.

3. You can transfer save files from the previous version

One thing that frustrates us is when a publisher releases a new version of a pre-released game, but doesn't allow the ability to transfer our progress. Announced during the Sony E3 2014 press conference, you'll be able to port your Grand Theft Auto Online character and progress to the new game, then pick up right where you left off. Granted, you'll have to start Story Mode over again, but that's not entirely a bad thing. Plus, you can try a different character.

4. You didn’t find all the secrets

Grand Theft Auto 5 contains a wealth of hidden items. Whether it's special vehicles or hidden goodies like the UFO parts, there’s a whole mess of stuff to find throughout Los Santos and Blaine County. Chances are only a few gamers managed to find 100 percent of this content, so the new release for PS4, Xbox One and PC will give them a second chance to catch up. Who knows? Rockstar may even throw in some bonus content to keep newcomers and veterans occupied.

5. GTA 5 next gen looks incredible

Rockstar Games will do so much more than simply port GTA 5. Instead, it will completely revamp the game from the ground up, with more realistic environments and terrain. In addition, there's rumor of a speedier frame rate (around 60 frames per second), as well as better cinema quality and draw distance. Watch the video to see evidence of this.

Grand Theft Auto 5 will release later this year for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4, and is available now for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Be sure to check out our Free Guide for further coverage on everything you need to know about the game!
