Our offense has a MULTITUDE of different issues
Playcalling, O=line, slow WR's, injuries, etc
.....But yea Kap has been off all game today
He's having one of his off nights again
Hopefully we can just squeak out thie win & regroup next week
Man look at the different approach to to the game, the 49ers don't throw one single pass for over five yards since the touchdown, while the eagles steady challenges and are not contempt at getting a fg..
Complasive football often inspires the other team, notice how many one hand catches and incredible plays are made against us especially late in games after we settle for fg's...

FINALLY our defense played like it's supposed to
playing like i knew it fucking could
stellar db play ALL GAME
last drive don't count we were playing zone and they went down the field
but in the coming weeks you'll realize what our defense just did shutting down sproles mccoy and the wr's?

kap wasn't pretty today but he got the job done. we still are too conservative at times but 2-2 is the main thing
run gore and hyde and take deep shots
wr's made spectacular catches and stevie is a keeper

The 49ers going forward
Okay just some obvious observations & adjustments going forward...
1. I really hope we get back A.Boone & A.Davis soon
A healthy Boone + Davis will really help solidify that right side
We definitely will need them vs the Cardinals
2. Sometime mid season around the bye week...
I think we really need to think about benching Iupati, if he doesn't step his game up drastically
He was never great in pass protection, but this year hes just really looking bad
Try out Looney or even Johnathan Martin at that left guard spot
3. We need to split Gore & Hyde's carries up evenly 50/50
It's pretty obvious Hyde is a better runner than Gore right now
Hyde has that burst, like a young Frank Gore
Use Frank for pass protection, on obvious passing plays
4. Man I hope Lattimore is healthy & can help us after the bye week
We just need to pickup a decent RB off the street to tide us over for a while
5. Lets pray to god that Blaine Gabbert never sees the field
6. No way in hell we should have BOTH Dial & Carradine inactive for games
Let Dobbs & TJE play more special teams
On obvious passing plays, rotate Tank & Dial in, for RayMac

I just don't know about him man
He reminds me a little bit of Manny Lawson
Lemonier drives me crazy because he gets off the line so fast, but he gets easily blocked up field and is totally out of the play.
He has his usual quick 1st step but he needs to develop a secondary move/counter move & strength
8. Skuta & Aaron Lynch need to be filling in for Aldon Smith, not Skuta/Lemonier
Lynch has that bull rush & is strong/powerful enough to fight through the block
Also he gets his hands up a lot, to tip balls at the line, like JJ Watt
I think he would work really well with Justin Smith
Lemonier probably needs to backup Brooks on the other side, & use his speed to get past slow right tackles & right guards
9. Reports were Brooks came into camp out of shape
He needs to step his lazy ass up & stop slacking off
He is better than that
10. The MLB position....Lord Jesus help us !!!
Wilhoite is too slow & not athletic enough
He doesn't anticipate plays well enough
Borland is the complete opposite, he's a playmaker
But Borland's youth exposes him to mental lapses & busted coverages, especially in the passing game
11. Lets pray to god that Craig Dahl never sees the field
12. We might miss Brock for the next game
Overall our secondary is decent
Hopefully Ward & Cully can pass the concussion tests & play against the Bears
Johnson was impressive for a rookie
Also no one is really talking about Cox
Cox has stepped his game up this year, he really looks good out there
(Except for that one long bomb pass play completion by Romo. Looked like Cox just miss time his jump b/c he's so short)

Yea man Aaron Lynch is a BEAST !!!
He's still raw right now though
The only thing he needs to do is get after the QB, b/c he's not good dropping back in coverage or setting the edge on running plays
Lemonier is the complete opposite
Lemonier is an all around good LB
He plays the run pretty good & is good in coverage, but is not really a 'sack specialist'
Lemonier is still a good LB though, just like Manny Lawson
From what I remember from Aaron Lynch...
1. He put pressure on Romo to throw that INT to Patrick Willis
2. Also Lynch had a tipped ball during the game
3. Also Lynch teamed up with Justin Smith
They did a stunt where Lynch occupied the O-linemen while Smith went around & sacked Romo again
The scary thing is the coaches hardly even played Lynch during the game, LOL

they haven't played lemonier at all really this season. he's been getting double and triple the snaps compared to lemonier.
the problem is tank.

we need to run first because the line blocks better when we run first
move boone from the inside because he was horrible but played damn good on the outside and looney did his thing on the inside
so if davis is out slide boone out to the outside and put looney inside and we got ourselves a line
get ellington on the field its clear davis is going to be hurt

teams shade us 15 yards and that's it. make them cover over the top by letting ellington run a go route or 3 every game.

that's our best offensive line right there.
LBOP, I hear what you're saying about the O-Line but Roman isn't that creative. A simple switch like Boone at Right Tackle & Looney at Right Guard is outside of his thought process.
I don't know where the deep ball is. It's seems to be if Davis isn't in the game taking a shot deep isn't an option.

with injuries we might need to make that change. if davis can't go then we need to put boone on the outside where he looked way more comfortable and put looney in there and it opens up the run game too with double pulling ability.
our line since the beginning of this regime pass blocks better when we come out and run. the difference between the time kap had in the 1st half and the 2nd half was completely different.
only thing kap needs to do is realize that with our passing routes if they're not open immediately they're not going to be open so just dump it to the back.
that's how our offense works. if the wr's don't immediately become open they're covered the entire down.

and vic finally let lynch rush on the strong side and put brooks on the weak side and magically our pass rush was fucking nice tonight.

We're coming. entire difference on defense is the pressure
with pressure you see how they play stellar. just keep that up and this defense will be lights out.
Our schedule has been brutal so far, and with all the injuries, bad calls and undisciplined play we are lucky to be 2 and 2, but could easily have been 0 and 4 or 4 and 0...
Were at the crossroads where we can decide what road to go down, bad team, mediocre, good or championship level..
Now if we want to really be a championship team, we need to first start thinking like one, and that means taking care of all the small details on and off the field , while finishing learning how to finish off games instead of trying to hang on and not lose..

I believe to do what we did today to this team that was riding high says a lot about our team. They got down 21-10 and didn't quit, fought back and won the game. That is what we needed. I don't think we're going to squander anymore opportunities.
After the game kap said we're on track to go 14-2
that is the fucking mindset that we need out there and it looks like we'll get it

run first to go to pass. every team worth a damn runs the ball we don't need to fight that identity and it damn sure doesn't make kap a lesser qb. it means we want to dominate you in every aspect.

on nickel downs we will now see brooks moved over to rush from the weak side and lynch will rush on the other side like aldon was doing his rookie season.
and there's no reason we shouldn't have tank in there with them doing the same..
just imagine it with lynch and aldon tank and justin...
NO TIME TO THROW.
That's not a reasonable excuse. all he needs to do is come in on 3rd and long or end of game passing situations and go get the qb
that's it.
