49ers

Damn, wtf? 49rs really let me down yesterday. I had them over the Cardinals in all my polls and everything. I couldn't watch that game as closely as I would of liked, because the Seahawks were playing. Did the 49rs have a bad game, or is Arizona for real? At any rate, I thought for sure that there would be a three way tie atop the NFC West after week 3, with the Seahawks, 49rs, and Cardinals all tied at 2-1.

At any rate, my eyes are firmly on the Cardinals now. I know it's only week 3, but for them to beat 2 playoff teams, in the Chargers and the 49rs, with a back up QB is telling. Moreover, if they beat Denver week 5 odds are they'll be playoff bound. I hate that I have to worry about the Cardinals (the Cardinals, really?) too now. :smh:

I know it's only week 3, but I think Jimmie Ward is AJ Jenkins 2.0.
The main thing is that I think they're giving him too much to handle. Not sure he would be better than a Perrish Cox or Chris Cook right now covering slot receivers.

We had a bad game. it was all us. We dominated them in the 1st half just like we dominate everyone in the first half and then the coaches let them off the hook. it's really that simple man.

Stanton is a better qb than carson palmer so don't let the backup excuse creep in. the offense is better when stanton is playing palmer is trash and has been and hasn't stopped being trash. he kept them from winning more games last season.

we ran uptempo spread and the cardinals had no answer for it. the stats show it. kap had 100 passer rating and completed 78% of his passes with no turnovers but in true coordinator fashion we stopped doing it and that was that

also
we made no adjustments on defense and that killed us. we should put teams away and we don't and that's what happens. we've been doing this the entire jim era though. letting teams hang around and making games that should have been blowouts become 14 point victories.

it's a coaching issue that needs to be fixed. if they fix it we're good money. if they don't then you'll see up whoop everyone ass in the 1st half and then do nothing in the 2nd

I can't fully judge the secondary without a pass rush.
He hasn't been playing good so that's not what I'm trying to say
but until we get a pass rush the secondary gets a mulligan. you can't have guys cover 5 seconds a snap and can't have a qb standing in the pocket like nothing will ever touch him and expect your db's to cover anything.

you just can't do it

meanwhile tank was inactive... and for what reason?

I don't know if it's been mentioned, but apparently the Niners are the only team who haven't scored in the 4th quarter.

COACHING

1st half the plan is correct and executed.

2nd half the plan is not adjusted for the adjustments the other team makes.

look at our 1st halves

and look at our 2nd

that is 100% coaching.

We're playing the same team, they don't suddenly good get at halftime and we suddenly lose our talent.

their coaches make adjustments and our coaches either don't or make ones that don't make sense.

We could have put up 40 on the cardinals yesterday running nothing but uptempo spread offense no huddle. the cardinals couldn't do shit with it. the only thing they tried was blitzes and kap either hit the open guy or ran it for 8 yards a clip.

nothing and i mean nothing. you didn't hear patrick peterson's name yesterday at all he was being worked

didn't hear matthieu's name he was worked

entire secondary was being worked to death.

Remember for the past few years we talked about having a complete game plans and using all of our weapons???

Well you saw it yesterday. 5 WR's on the field (something you never see). Designed QB runs. Runs by the backs inside and outside. Shit was wonderful... ACCEPT, you only saw it for 30 minutes. :smh:

They had no answer for it. The only way to stop it was to give Lloyd an insane amount of snaps and keep stevie off the damn field.

It's time to give it up. activate patton and keep stevie as the #3 kap has chemistry with him. ALSO it proves that kap will not just force it to boldin or crab.

He forced 1 to crab yesterday and it was almost intercepted. 1 and there's no reason to harp on it because it was a mistake that he didn't make again.

after that..1st one open got the ball and that's how it's going to be with crab boldin and stevie.

stevie will kill as the 3rd wr because you have to pay attention to crab and boldin.. also the trips formation is impossible to defend. they ran basically wr screens to crab out of that all day and even got a td out of it. easy money that nobody can match up with because all of them are great route runners and CATCH the ball.

get patton in there and use ellington as more than a decoy

along with the power running with gore and hyde.. put up 40 a night

defense plays lights out for a half
and then doesn't make any adjustments that's coaching

run defense is fine

pass defense is actually pretty good in spurts but when teams decide all they're going to do is pass is when they get into rhythms because the pass rush besides justin smith is horrible
and for some reason tank can't even be activated

dial has impressed and made a world of difference out there.

we literally should be sitting at 3-0 with 3 blowout victories.

the team is that good even with everybody missing on both sides of the ball.

As much as I like seeing the spread formations and getting others involved, it's time we get back to our bread and butter.

Roman has showed he can't play call a passing attack for 60 minutes. For the past 3 weeks its been the same formation in the 2nd half. 3 WR'S ON THE SAME SIDE OF THE FIELD. Ya'll know what I'm talking about.

He needs to go back to power running first and set up the pass from there. It controls the clock and puts Roman in a comfortable play calling place.

Last season we started the same way. Pass first and no running. Second half funks. When we got back to the ground game we took off.

the problem is he's tween. if we had went full throttle in all of those games we would have put up major points. he changes his mind and fucks up the rhythm. this is a hybrid offense so we're capable of all of it he just has to pick something and if its working stick with it.

that's the funny thing
if it's working he goes away from it
if it's not working he stick with it.

Thank You God!!!...:yes::yes:

Pathetic Alex Boone giving up that sack
Then a quick TD by the Eagles via a blocked punt
I see how this game is going to be

This 49ers team, boy it's going to be a LOOOOONG season
:smh::smh::smh:

Question: why it so difficult for teams to move the ball with in the redzone?

Answer because there is so little real estate there and the defense knows that they only have to defend 20 yards...

Question why is it that we run our offense like we are in the redzone allowing the defense to pack 20 yards making it difficult for us to find space?

Answer: Crickets...

Kap has been off this quarter
His accuracy has been off so far
Also our O-line is stilll stinking up the joint wih pass protection & penalties

:smh::smh::smh:

Frank Gore !!!

:dance::dance:

Edit: On a side note....
Frank has almost always been open on almost every play for the little dump off
But Kap refuses to dump it off to him...until now

Too many receivers bunched up in the same place, shit one defender is peeling off of his man to the other... Thus becoming unaccountable..:smh:

Nah fam Kap just didn't read the coverage correctly
The Eagles defense fooled him
And Kap just didn't see the defender peel off his man for the pick
Simple as that, no excuses

But if the defense knows your going to throw with in 15 yards, its easy for them to disguise the zone from man to man knowing that they have to guard only a quarter of the field...

Yall can't see the defense creeping up daring them to beat the corners deep...We need to pound the ball, and throw it deep, once in a while, just to keep them honest..
