Purdue has not been good since Drew Brees and Kyle Orton. When Mich had Charles Woodson, they were loaded with all kinds of pro players. OSU with Eddie George, Joey Galloway, Terry Glenn. We had teams like pitt, miami, syracuse, virginia tech, boston college, west virginia who were all top 25 football schools and produced a lot of hall of famers. Now they all suck and are in different conferences. the sec is truly running shit.

Maurice Claret's insurance fraud happened. which sparked 1 NCAA investigation, then the armed robberies by 2 punk ass OSU players, which sparked a 2nd one on the low. then the Tattoo Gate sparked a 3rd. OSU has too much damn heat on them to "recruit" like they used to.

And Penn I mean Sandusky happened. If Joe Paterno could shit his pants during games and still keep a job, that says something. . . But the Sandusky shit KILLED the allure of Pitt for a lot of good talent.

Can't speak for the rest, except Michigan. Ann Arbor's a whore. . . and dees hoes never win! haha

Yeah I remember the big east being good in football too, V.Tech was on a roll at one point, when they got M.Vick...... West V use to be loaded every year!

Yeah you do have a point with OSU and Penn St. PSU could be back on the rise in the near future but who knows. As far as my Wolverines, the head coach has to go. They need to get a good head coach first, then they need to start developing their talent. They have had some good recruiting classes under Hoke but they have not develop them. A lot of 4 and 5 star recruits have not performed well, to me that is on coaching. I was watching ESPN and former OSU RB Robert Smith said that the talent is moving to SEC country. He said parents are moving their kids away from the midwest to warmer cities. I don't know how much of that is true but it is possible that is going on.

look at sec defenses; they are damn near all blk, even at vandy.

edit: i don't pay much attention to polls, but 5 of the top 10 teams are from the SEC... with 4 of the 5 from the 'blood bath' SEC west.

Threads like this are hard for me, cuz I don't cheerlead for conferences like you and a few others do...but outside of Bama and every few years Auburn or LSU. The SEC is just like every other conference..One or two top teams and a bunch of average or mediocre others.

Clowney hasn't did anything yet but showing that he is injury prone, not a good sign bruh. AND YES LSU put a lot of players in the league but their DT's have not performed that we'll over the years. I thought Ego Ferguson was gonna help my bears with the run defense but those fools gave up almost 200 yards rushing to Buffalo today. Big Ten doing alright in basketball but football has fell off big time.
