Didnt like all the emotional/over talking one another shit...but Talib made two valid points.
One......the America Media always likes to headline things that makes Black folks look unorganized and angry. The mass majority of the people out their arent looting, throwing bottles etc.....BUT THEY CHOOSE to pull the one report that talked about those type of issues and put it on the front page. With the play of words, trying to equate all Black people to the small minority; Overused tactic.
Also, the point he made at the end about Black folks not doing anything when it pertains to about violence within Black communities. Like Ive stated countless of times before....Black folks do respond...folks who always bring up "what about Black on Black crime" are mainly the folks thats not out there in the streets seeing whats going on. They basically just sit safe at home and whine about folks "thats not doing anything"....mainly because it justifies their bs perceptions of Black people.
Some of the ways Black folks address crime wont make a major change (like marching) but the thing is you do have TONS of Black folks out here addressing gang violence and trying to better their communities.
