If this kid can stay healthy, there is NO other player in the league quite like him. Athletically, he's getting stronger, guard-like skills, and the kid is only 21 fucking years old! If he stays healthy, nobody will be able to touch him once LeBron starts to decline!!! Fucking Phenomenal this kid!!

Man come on man don't start this trolling shit man.

So now, everytime someone posts an opinion, it's trollin' ? Yeah, maybe someone should start a words that are overused on BGOL thread... You guys are pitiful with that shit, if you don't agree with an opinion then just don't agree with it... :hmm:

Man it ain't no damn opinion though. You just come in here throwing some shit out there. Backing that shit up with no facts or stats or anything. Not even a video. Now what on earth have you seen from this dude to say such a thing?

He may very well may be. That's like me saying Jadaveon Clowney gonna be the best defensive player in the league in 5 years. Will it happen? Hell if I know. But its trolling to me when you say shit like that and nothing to back it up.

Anthony Davis in his young career has shown NO WAY he'd be the best player in the NBA in 2 years. Better than Lebron? You banking on Lebron falling off in 2 years? That shit is trolling man....IT IS WHAT IT IS tho......

He will be in the discussion. I said it last year, and again recently. He is the closest thing this generation will have to Tim Duncan.

Its a possibility. Davis isn't a bum. But I said I thought he was trolling because he just randomly said it and didn't back it up with nothing. Just threw it out there. One of his reasons is he expects Bron to decline in 2 years. Which may happen but as of right now it sounds outlandish.

I personally haven't seen enough from him to say he's gonna be better than Lebron or KD in 2 years.....but its hard to say he won't be the best BIG out there. He's on track to be. Its going to be him and Dwight in a league of their own in that regard.

It is an opinion... Adding stats makes it fact, AND, if I am projecting 5 years ahead, any discussion of the future is opinion based on 2 years into his career! And I didn't say 2 years I said 5 so, yeah, you are on some bullshit like I said. If you disagree then disagree, that's your opinion, but you Dudes stay on the bullshit trying to make something out of nothing... :hmm:

Durant. But I hope they can make the playoffs next season. I'm tired of these old teams. Though I'm around their ages.

And dtownsfinest acting like he doesn't have an agenda. The Pelicans are going to be on y'all trail. And soon.

Yea. Hes gonna be a fucking stud bro. Hes already better than Dwight Howard. I have in top 5 in mvp votes this year. And top 5 player in the league by end of next season. That muthafucka is special.

Yep, he is a unique player though, one of the most unique in the NBA... I'll probably excuse motherfuckers who see 5's as 2's though...

Its not even about disagreement. I mean if you think i'm making a big deal about it i'll let it go. Its more so about your history on this site and you have a long HISTORY of trolling. So when I hear someone who has played in this league for 2 years is going to be the best player in the league in 5? Sounds crazy to me. Good luck on your prediction. He'll be one of the best big's in the league. I won't deny that. He may be the best player in the league. I Just haven't seen enough to warrant he'll be better than Lebron if he's still in his prime or KD.

Dude this is my thread, what are you, the thread police now, auditioning for Mod or some shit? I do fuck around every now and then no doubt, but I also contribute to threads too...

I'm glad it sounds crazy to you... and thanks for contributing to the discussion of the thread without all the bullshit. I appreciate it. :hmm:

Yessir! I'm looking at his skillset, and the landscape in the league especially at his position and I'm like  at his potential.

LeBron has a LOT of miles on him at 30, he's an old 30, and not saying the same thing is going to happen to him, but you see how quickly Kobe's body started breaking down, because of all the mileage he put on his body at a young age. And as much as I love KD, I don't think his overall game has the versatility that AD's has. Dude has the potential to be a dominant offensive AND defensive player! I hope he stays healthy because if he does, and his body matures, he will be special to watch!!

Yeah well if you would quit trolling I wouldn't accuse you of the shit.

And i'm not the thread police. If you cant' take criticism or someone disagreeing with you what the fuck you on here for then? You should be use to it. You been trolling for atleast a year.

Oh wow.....I don't know...I can see the argument in him being better than Dwight. I personally like him better offensively than Dwight. But I put him and Dwight in the same league because they're physically freaks at the 5.

I already said though I felt New Orleans gonna kill it this year. They got a dope ass roster.

 Only guard like skills I want in my big men is passing like Tim Duncan and Shaq. My BIG better not be sitting out there on the perimeter like the Heat had Chris Bosh.

That won't be his downfall, it will be a benefit since he will have versatility against most of the other bigs in the league! You play a team with a dominant shot blocker you bring him out and make him play you on the perimeter where his versatile skill set makes him a matchup nightmare. He still is a defensive and rebounding force as a big as well... It also allows him to shift to the 4 when needed seamlessly. Fortunately, every center in the League doesn't have to play like Roy Hibbert, this isn't the 70s anymore bruh :hmm:

He can be top five. His damn good. Could be potentially the best big man in the league.Pelicans got a stud. They got to build around him quick

Yep, because with the climate of the league now, if they don't continue in the direction they are going in, and I love the team they've put together so far, he will bounce. As his game matures, his versatility will make him damn near impossible to guard!

His squad is nice though. They need Eric Gordon to stay healthy......hopefully Austin Rivers develops into atleast a solid rotational guy or a guy that can come off the bench and score. They traded for Asik, got Jrue Holiday, Eric Gordon, Tyreke Evans, Ryan Anderson.......if they not in the post season they were a disappointment.

I wouldn't be surprised at all if he was the best player in the NBA in 5 years. Imagine if he played in the East. He's just scratching the surface of what he can do offensively (that 18 footer he swishes is cool blooded). His defensive & rebounding is already all world. That's IF he can actually stay healthy for a full season.

Even if he ain't the best player he WILL be the best big man

He is damn near a complete power forward

Strength was like his only major knock and you can clearly see he has added that since he came into the NBA

His defensive skills is what sets him apart

End of guards, forwards and centers
"Versatile players on the rise, which has led to elimination of traditional positions"

http://espn.go.com/mens-college-basketball/story/_/id/9799167/traditional-positions-being-eliminated-college-basketball

In the past, size often trumped skills with regard to positions. That's no longer the case for many coaches.

They use the versatility within their rosters to operate more effectively. There are more options with substitutions because players can play multiple roles. And offensive sets have additional avenues because there are more ballhandlers on the floor.

"I think it makes it tough to guard in transition when multiple guys bring the ball up," Baylor coach Scott Drew said.

Coaches and players agree that this new wave of multi-talented athletes is not some fad for college basketball.

The descriptors that made sense years ago feel inadequate today. Point guards, shooting guards, small forwards, power forwards and centers -- in some cases -- have been replaced by young men who simply call themselves players.

:hmm:

Yeah man, his defensive instincts are ridiculous!

I was a hornet/pelican fan all my life till the name change. We can talk when he leads them to the postseason. Until then he just putting up numbers like K. Love. He would have made postseason if Bob's had won lottery.

A "big man" having "guard-like" skills isnt really something to gloat about, unless its passing out of the post.. which is actually a big man skill.

Praising bigmen for having "guard-like" skills will have this bitch ass on the perimeter not rebounding anymore Boshing it up on the court.

FUCK "guard-like skills"

Big man skills >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

He has big man skills... I hope to improves on that and get away from that Guard Bullshit.
