They didn't even cover the body until his mom showed up on the scene freaking out.
It was released to the family either yesterday or earlier today. I read they had plans to get a second autopsy done. It took them forever to release the body. I'm not sure how their autopsies are handled there, but unless they serve several surrounding counties, its not like it is going to be a high traffic coroner, Ferguson had one homicide in the last year, Mike's.

I'd think he would be there. His being on video would account for why they wanted to confiscate the cellphones. I'd like to know if any of the witnesses noticed injuries on him, or if there is any video close up enough to see if he was injured.

No lie they haven't changed ANY of the pictures about this story in the Houston newspaper. They'll update the story with new information, but recycle the same fuckin pictures of the same few knuckleheads looting some damn candy bars.... Shit is maddening.
On the cool tho I'm still contemplating on that idea drayonis had.... About making chest mount cameras mandatory by all LEO's and if there's any incident involving that officer he has 4 hours to produce the camera to a superior. If you can't produce it, suspension without pay and imminent termination. Any foul play, tampering with the camera, immediate suspension without pay and imminent termination.

All the coverage on cnn and in some newspapers (headlines at least) tried to paint the police as being necessary because the populace was uncontrollable. But the reporters on the ground and the social media reporting told a different story and directly blamed the police as the cause of the violence.
