Love gives them a Top 3 at his position inside presence, can stretch the defense and rebounds better than anyone in the league in terms of consistence. All this Love doesn't defend shit, so I guess every other major superstar in the league made 1st team all defense huh? You Dudes act like he's James Harden or something?!?! He might not be a stopper, but I don't really remember him getting constantly torched either!

My Cavs will win the chip either this year or next, and LeBron is proving to be the most powerful man in the NBA!! :yes:

The additions of Love and Lebron will probably make the Cavs the best defensive rebounding team in the league. Lebron, Love, and Irving will likely making them top 2 passing teams in the NBA. They're going to be average on defense but if they sign Ray..and Ray, Miller, and Jones still have something left.. they'll also be a top shooting team.. picking up Marion would actually be a huge win for them.

Yep. Lebron's will has won. I have to agree with the pro-Love propaganda.

Team is going to light teams up. Period. It will be ugly. They might not be defensive stoppers, but teams won't be able to stop them.

Also, there is no reason that Love, Waiters, and Irving can't buy into the defense when Lebron is leading the charge and trying to get defensive intensity out of you. It's not like Love is a frail bitch. It's not like Irving doesn't have quickness. Waiters has already been used to defend the 1,2, and 3 spots.

Defense is about effort. Lebron makes the game easier on the offensive end. He'll demand you help him out on defense. Waiters took plays off because Irving did it. He basically had a " if he does it, I can do it attitude'. Lebron don't play like that, so I don't see Waiters taking defense off.

If Blatt can make adjustments on the fly, this team should win it all.

You don't watch basketball. Davis' mid-range, transition, and post game is better than Love's right now. They're a wash at the three point line. Love has the advantage on 3 point shooting and that's about it. Shooting 550 three point shots per game accounts for the extra PPG but Davis is a WAY more efficient offensive player. He shoots 52% from the field while Love shoots 45% from the field.

but defensively its not even close. Davis is gonna be a defensive player of the year. Let me put the difference into perspective. He gets 6 times more blocks per game than Love.

I actually like the versatility of the Cavs 'big 3' better than the Miami version basically because it's a more versatile unit! Plus, especially in the east, the Cavs will be hard to handle! You have: The best player in the world, arguably a top 5 PG, a player who some consider the best PF in the league, but easily a top 3 PF, and then you have the underrated Waiters?!?! How the hell do you guard, double team, and created defensive schemes to combat that shit!? And people aren't even considering how deadly they will be with Uncle Drew penetrating and having your stud 4 as one of his drive and dish recipients!?!?!

And like you said, people sleep on Waiters (that's why they were comfortable with getting rid of Wiggins). Waiters averaged 18 a game when he was a started. He can shoot and create his own offense... man.. they're gonna have the floor spread causing a lot of problems. Defensively, they're gonna be soft but on offense... it's pick your poison..

As for Love's defense, can't the man play Larry Bird defense? Not that great individually, but maybe can work with Lebron and the rest of the team to be good at team defense. It's up to Blatt and Bron to get him motivated.

Yep! Plus, with all of the schemes, zones and stuff, I totally believe the defensive aspects are being overblown. No one on this team is James Harden, and frankly, a lot can be hidden defensively nowadays! Also, there aren't a whole lot of beast 4's and 5's out there to cause regular trouble. I welcome this, I prefer 120-119 games over games in the 80s :yes:
 
The thing about Love game that makes him unique and a perfect fit for LeBron is that he is able to, shoot the three point shot, stretching the defense, post up, pass and create his own shot off the dribble plus he eats up double teams helping out in the post.. All of this while boxing out and grabbing rebounds..

I don't know. That's some heart attack shit right there. Irving has been running two mans with 'hands of stone' Thompson. He is going to be like :dance: with Love.
This team is definitely built to be in the finals for five years straight. Most people overlook Waiters. On defense, he will be able to keep up with people much better than Wade was able to last year. And on offense, he will be able to bring it.

Assuming all goes well, they will lock up Waiters for the rest of Lebron's career. Good luck to the rest of the NBA for the next 5-6 years. :lol:

The Lebron effect will make all of them better and will carry on when Lebron is just a top-5 player instead of the best on the planet.

Larry Bird was an under-rated defensive player. Not the quickest feet but he was better than average. Love is below average but the Cavs are going to just have to make up for it in other areas. They'll become the top defensive rebounding team and possibly the team passing team with adding Lebron and Love (especially running that Princeton Offense). Shit, they need Coach Brown back as an assistant coach to handle the defense :lol:

If your team has to really on their PF for iso defense then your team lost... His job is to box out grab rebounds, and help out in the paint.. Most PF he goes up against are not bit time scorers and if they are and it becomes a problem, you simply switch Love to centers, and throw either Varejão or Thompson on him.
What teams can't afford are PF who cant rebound.

I think most consider Larry a better team defender than individual defender. But his defense is often overlooked because of his offensive -- plus he's white. :lol:
But I think Lebron can upgrade Love's defense. It's just effort that Love needs to put in. He shows it when rebounding.

All jokes aside, Mike Brown is a great assistant coach. Some people know their shit, but don't have the ability to lead. They need to be utilized by leaders.

I still don't see why you are so high on Thompson. He still hasn't developed a shot and fumbles passes. Perhaps Lebron will help his development. I'm sure Lebron will help his defensive intensity.
