Cause women hitting men isn't a huge problem. Let's stop with that fake ass argument. Like women are out here sending men to work with black eyes.

What pissed me off he SPECIFICALLY said he doesn't give a shit what ANYONE says and he knows this will be controversial and immediately backtracks.
AND ESPN as a whole is bitchmade cause they haven said word ONE about this on the air radio tv internet NOTHING...
but let this had happened to one of their RIVALS?
I don't watch first take but I think I may have to dvr THIS one on Monday cause I want to see if SAS gonna say ANYTHING about it.
If he DOESN'T?
That to me is the final nail in his coffin he is the same tv troll clown as skip and he loses what little credibility he had outside the NBA.
You don't know that. Lose what? Women get their asses beat daily and the ass-beater walks free.
NO. The only person that EVER put hands on me was my father (and mother) if you ain't one of them, I ain't walking away.
Bullshit. When I see a woman hit a dude and he defends himself I don't judge that man one bit. I judge her for being the aggressor.
Good for you breh. Good for you. You have a higher tolerance level than me.
I wonder will he address this on First Take tomorrow ?
So a former abused female being sarcastic in replying to statements that offended her as a female means she's racist?
I swear some of you have absolutely no interaction with females besides on this board. Can't.
But continue your twitter revolution
I know why he apologized, but he didn't need to. He didn't say anything wrong. That bitch was attention whoring and made this whole thing about her. Btw, heard he's done at BSPN Radio, and is going to Mad Dog Radio.

Since this wasn't a topic that interested me very much (I got off the SAS bandwagon years ago) I never heard what he said until I watched this vid a few minutes ago.
My face just dropped as he talked. He did owe an apology. His talking of "provocation" was way too broad and on such a sensitive subject, he should have chosen his words much more carefully.
Being reckless with your words has a price and he's paying it.
Let's see if they talk about Greg Hardy today...

Uncle Chuck he chose the wrong time to take that viewpoint/position and he didn't articulate it well.
He been in media WAY TOO LONG not to know that wasn't going to go over well.
Matter of fact he STARTED off saying it wasn't going to go over well..
Right there he SHOULD have stopped himself. We UNDERSTAND what he was saying but its just not something you can fully articulate in that forum to that audience in that time frame and come off looking or sounding good.
Anytime you try to justify hitting a women like that you going to lose.
Again I understand his point and it was valid but he was wrong.
Matter of fact Mike & Mike actually said the same thing and I'll give Greenberg credit he KNOWS how to talk for soundbites. He expressed the same view about women instigating an altercation. But was able to still focus on this particular incident being wrong. SAS failed to do that so he gets no defense from me.
its about SAS doing his job poorly before anything else.
Whoopi Goldberg is making the point I think SAS wanted to make except she's being very, very clear and getting applause from the majority of the female audience.
I saw the episode when SAS said it. I agree with Playa about the timing and delivery, but I don't have an issue with his general idea. As for Whoopi, you think maybe a woman saying went over better than the way she said it? Just asking your opinion.
I'm sure it being a woman saying it helped but it was the message and the words that got the reaction. The other co-hosts were against her and on some "that's blaming the victim" shit but, as strongly as you could ever see someone make a stand, she didn't back down and reiterated several times "We need to teach our girls that it's not okay to hit a man and if you do, anything can happen."
SAS tried to say it without saying it and it got him in trouble.
What's funny is ESPN has SAS issue an apology and then they go to the topic of LeBron James picking his Jersey # lol They don't even discuss what happened or have Michelle Beadle on for a debate.. I have seen them do this before, when it's their own they avoid the topic but when it's someone else they embrace debate. Fuck outta here.
Aight. Cool. Yeah, sometimes SAS gets so caught up in his "lively" delivery, that it's awkward or his message goes totally unnoticed. It's like a naked Halle Berry telling you that your house is on fire. After you get through staring at the tits and pussy, you might realize what it was she was trying to say.
Whoopi Goldberg is making the point I think SAS wanted to make except she's being very, very clear and getting applause from the majority of the female audience.
That's why it has nothing to do with his comments. It's always attack, discredit or eliminate black men.
No one should provoke people ! Having an entitled approach to provoking people is manipulative. SAS was trying to help but it came from the wrong type of messenger.
I disagree with SAS often but he said what I tell my daughters "don't poke bulls, it's not wise"
