In addition to the 1980’s synthesizer music & retro-style graphic titles… they even added them old-school ‘dust & scratches’ + some videotape ‘ripple’ effects for good measure.

This would have been amazing back in early 90's for reruns. People would have never heard of Salute your shorts, Pete and Pete, Rocko's Modern Life , Angry Beavers, and all that other Nick at Nite stuff...
Preteens and teens would have just watched Fox and HBO all day during the daytime hours..
And throw in X-Files and some kind non gay True Blood...
It would have been money, money and mo money for both networks.

This is why I can't stand the showrunners. The folks from House Martell (The Sands) are all darker skinned olive colored folk. Everyone they casted is fucking white.
And the one new black cast member is playing a character that was originally white. Areo Hotah.

A collection of 12 different Game of Thrones wines are coming soon, thanks to a fan-made project by Common Ventures.
The Wines of Westeros are set to release in time for Season 5 of HBO's Game of Thrones, which is the network's most-watched series ever. The unofficial project by an Australian agency offers a sauvignon blanc for House Stark, a pinot noir for House Baratheon and House Lannister, and a shiraz for House Targaryen.
Other wines available include another sauvignon blanc for House Greyjoy, a merlot for the Dothraki, and a chardonnay for House Tyrell. A bottle of the Game of Thrones-inspired wine will cost roughly $20 or £11 and is available for preorder.
This isn't the first time a popular TV show or movie series has gotten its own wine line, though. Earlier this year, CBS commissioned three different bottles of wine based off Star Trek: The Original Series.
As for the Game of Thrones wine, Common Venture cleverly states that "a mind needs wine as a sword needs a whetstone."
