~*~2014 NBA OffSeason Thread - Free Agency Starts - 7/1 12am ~*~

Yoooo...

Charlotte has Al, Kemba, AND Lance?

They may not be a championship team, but they sure as hell ain't a borderline playoff team anymore.

Lance took the shorter deal cuz he is still young and is counting on balling out for 3 years and getting a much larger deal

The salary per year is about the same as the pacers offer

This really hurts them

The east is officially wiiiiiiiiiiddddeeee open

yup.....

so finally niggas can stop complaining

I am gonna shoot the first asshole that says cleveland has a stacked team now tho   :hmm: :hmm:

by the way....if the bulls dont make any noise in the playoffs this year we have to write them off....HAVE TO.

1) Cleveland
2)Chicago
3) Wizards
4) Miami
5) Toronto
6) Indiana
7) Charlotte
8) NY

That's next years playoff seeding

Lance signed with Charlotte 3 years 27 mil :confused::confused::confused::confused::confused:

Minus whale stay in Indiana for 5/44...

nah....that was actually a smart move by Lance.
he can opt out in 2016 and get more money....(if he continues to improve and get to All Star status)
which im sure he will do. Indiana didnt want to give him a shorter contract, which is what he was looking for.

Lance a dam fool for leaving 20mill on the table. He aint Bron. Someone needs to tell him that. His first payday (can potentially be his last) and he gambles and leaves 20 on the table. :smh:

Shoulda stayed in Indy and got the 5 year with player option after 3 if he wanted to gamble.

1) Cleveland
2)Chicago
3) Wizards
4) Miami
5) Toronto
6) Indiana
7) Charlotte
8) NY

shoot man Atlanta gonna be in there..

Look I will be the most surprised dude if Cleveland was the 1 seed. They have to work out too many issues on both sides of the ball under a first time coach.I have them anywhere from 4-6

Chi gonna be the 1 seed because they always play like maniacs during the reg season.

I see ninjas still have NY near the bottom tho...

2015 Charlotte Hornets starting lineup.

PG- Kemba Walker
SG-Lance Stephenson
SF- Marvin Williams
PF-Noah Vonleh
C-Al Jefferson

yup.....

Apparently, they've already written Rose off

I think now that he doesn't have to worry about either of his knees, he'll get his redemption this season

The east shaping up...the were the finals standing last year

• Indiana - could be better with Lance gone
• Miami - great chance they still compete at high level...with addition and offensive scheme changes
• Toronto - should see 10 more wins
• Chicago - get Gasol is huge, but cutting Carlos might hurt, depending where he lands
• Washington - the truth should help
• Brooklyn - ????
• Charlotte - just control the spark plug
• Atlanta - ????
New York - small changes may turn out to be major
Cleveland - 20 more wins just on signing Lebron
Detroit - I like Meeks
Boston - new era in bean town
Orlando - should improve in wins
Philadelphia - somebody said they're tanking in hopes to get Lebron son in 20whatever...
Milwaukee - probably get more tv time this year

Gasol is still a double double machine and Nikola will be under Pau's wing, so we will definitely not miss Boozer.

• Brooklyn - ????

new coach w/ a proven track record...healthy lopez...dwill coming off a rehabilitating ankle surgery...lost livingston...we'll miss pierce too...traded thornton for jarrett...lost blatche too I think...a healthy lopez and if dwill can play anywhere near @ the height he once did could land us in a top 4 spot...otherwise we might sneak in @ 7 or 8

I been doing a lot of reading the last couple days. Lebron is changing the game again. This next CBA agreement is going to get ugly. Especially with the new TV deal and both sides fighting for the pieces of the pie.

Larry C broke it down beautifully. The players middle class and the small market teams determine the state of the league.

The agents and NBPA were not happy and are not happy with players taking pay cuts especially with a new CBA agreement coming

Also OKC will continue to be cheap

they will not pay Reggie if he is asking for too much.

Miami moves are to stay competitive for two years. that bosh contract will bite them in the ass in two years. People are calling it the "Joe Johnson Contract" (Joe was going to go the Knicks until Atlanta gave him that crazy contract. Also people need to remember the health situations of Wade and Deng. Lebron isn't here to bail them out anymore.

Same thing with Brooklyn. Nets have to hope a big man that has had 4 foot surgeries in three seasons will be healthy and a bitch of point guard finally stops being a bitch. Nets got lucky with Plum (making first nba rookie team and saying people should trade Lopez) but moving him to a starter at the PF. The kid is nice defensive wise but I'm hoping the Nets aren't expecting this kid to clean up Lopez mess. (Doing the dirty work. Rebounding blocking shots and etc etc.)

I like the Bobcats squad. Cleveland will be fun but Pau going to the Bulls will be big.

:angry::angry::angry::angry:

This is like the 2nd time the Nuggets tried to get Mike and failed. Oh well though.

Prediction: Quincy Miller will turn heads this season.

I thought y'all Nuggets fans said Mike knew what time it was and that he knew the Nuggets were gonna be contenders next year that's why he's joining them?

Does bosh have an opt out or is all of 5 yrs guaranteed? Hopefully bosh play at a high level for 3-4 of this years

Guaranteed the Owners try to make a play on this. "The Players don't even want all their money" or something of the like.

Nuggets are the punching bags of the nba

Nuggets=Floyd Mayweather.

Nuggets are the punching bags of the nba

 MHC and co. was talkin' so much shit about them Nuggets. Talking about fuck the offseason and then soon as it was rumored Mike Miller MIGHT come they got amped up. Nuggets not even trying to improve that team. They must be content on just barely getting into the post season. If that.

Saw a report saying GM's were telling agents if Lebron aint getting a max...why should your client

The nerve of these motherfuckers lol

Dirk took a paycut so Cuban could pay Parsons more than him

Eh look....Bosh was bout to dip to Houston forcing Mickey and Pat to open the brinks truck

Melo got his money..he even gave them a little discount

Bron signed 2 years. he knows a new CBA is coming. He aint no fool

Durant sure as hell gonna cash in next toss....and I would be willing to say about 40 percent chance it aint gonna be in Oklahoma
