~*~2014 NBA OffSeason Thread - Free Agency Starts - 7/1 12am ~*~

LeBron with the Cavs might be a better team than the Heat team he just left. He would be the vet leadership.

LeBron, Kyrie, Wiggins is damn close to LeBron Bosh and Wade at this point.

Except younger with more energy.

That fast break...:eek::itsawrap:

Nope you need smart crafty vets who know have the untangle of playoffs championship ball.. The charge takers etc

Bron would have to hold those dudes hands and kyrie and fragile ass dude

kyrie is fragile and wiggins is unproven in the big leagues...let's not crown this imaginary team yet

But lebron is the best player in the world and the last time he was with the cavs he went to the finals with 4 starters who weren't as good as kyrie fragile ass is combined...

 Who would bounce the Cavs in the 2nd round with Kyrie Irving and Lebron the same team? Lebron got to the Finals with a misused Bosh and a bad knees Wade. Lebron supporting cast looks better right now with the Cavs than with the Heat. That's just real shit. If they didn't have Kyrie Irving i'd agree with you but he's the one that makes this enticing. Wiggins not ready yet but he won't have to be with Lebron there. Let Wiggins go out there and destroy 2nd units like Ginobilli does.

You right. It was the years part. I'm down for 4 years 44 million.

If they bring Parsons back though then that takes them out of the Bosh race right? I think they're trying to hold on to Parsons incase Bosh falls through.

Bosh is way better than anyone in the cavs right now that's where u missing the point like I said a 2nd round exit for the cavs

That's not a good argument
Lebron is the veteran leadership.

and the Cavs talent at this moment in time
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

than the heat. They wouldn't get bounced in the 2nd round they'd win the east.

Lebron is basically set for the next four or five years if he goes to Cleveland. I thought if Riley worked magic, he would sign with a one year opt out. But then the Cavs started talking crazy with that Gordon shit. Between Riley not doing shit and Cavs talking crazy, it's best to go to the young talent now.

Rockets better bring Parsons back..

Parsons is going nowhere.....I really can't see him leaving. He and his agent are playing ball. They know that Morey is gonna come back and get him after they make their big splash. Once that's done they'll tell Parsons GO GET THE BEST DEAL YOU CAN AND WE'LL MATCH IT. Remember, we can go over the cap to match his contract since he's a restricted free agent

If he had plans to bounce he'd be all out doing the whole free agency thing but he's not.

Oh and I wanna thank Philly in advance. They will take Jeremy Lin contract off our hands..... Mark my words

What's easier though

holding hands or carrying dudes on your back?

Well in the heats defense them cats were old and went 4 straight years.. So it's a matter of getting vets with fresher legs at least he know he wouldn't have to hold their hands

He would be with young players who are not mentality mature.. A you team like the cavs would get bounced in the playoffs with Bron on that teams cause u have crafty vets doing little shit to get under the young players skin making them get in foul trouble

Heat are way more talented than the spurs but who won that series? You need a combo of talent/vet leadership and solid rotational guys..

I disagree with that. I believe Lebron's leadership will get them where they need to be for the playoffs. Plus all the rest of the teams in the east are young themselves and haven't been there. There are no more celtic teams that are capable of doing what you're talking about.

The heat weren't more talented than the spurs any of the 2 times they met. Spurs choked the 1st time 2nd time they beat that ass and it was because of how much talent they had.

I don't know what he's going to do but The heat gonna have to do 100000000x's better than granger and mcroberts if they want to sell lebron on the heat.

And I just read that Granger and McRoberts agrees to deals with the Heat.

Like you said Cavs supporting cast is looking a lot better.

This is a point that must be recognized. I would be curious to see how they'd hold up against the big dawgs in the West tho.

I can't call it either way, but folks have to consider Bron in Cleveland, to be a compelling proposition fa sho.

West is different but the east? Look at what they just did to the east this year and they weren't near their best...

Who other than the wizards and maybe chicago is they pull a rabbit out of their hat can compete with any team lebron is on this upcoming season?

Bron ain't 18 - 25 no more either. 30 is 30 not matter how it's cut.

Although Bron is in his prime (basketball wise), the Heat still haven't addressed some of the issues that are going to remain coming into next season. I like Napier, but a rookie is a rookie and he is going to have to prove himself over the year.

I think Wiggins would thrive off lobs and back cuts alone playing with Lebron and Kyrie. I mean thrive. Not to mention finishing on the break. And you could let him play the other team's best perimeter player instead of LeBron having to do it.

the biggest thing is the fact wade has never developed a 3 point shot, shit is a detriment to his team.

Keith Sweet - Nobody

Maybe the Bobcats if they make the right moves.

Oh for sure. I was just saying that I would fully expect them to come out of the east..

I just don't know how'd stack up in the finals against whatever team they'd have to face.

if he goes to the rockets
people are going to wonder where chris bosh went for 4 years
and then ill direct them to my 4 years worth of posts

I agree and disagree with you on Bosh. He's not or should not be your main guy. I think he works better as your number 2 than 3. In Houston he spaces out the floor for Dwight and I think the two of them will play well together. The problem as I see it is Harden he hijacks the offense and disappears in the clutch. Harden wants to be a 1 and Howard wants to be a 1 option. Bosh has to be the 2 option at best and worst for this team. If Bosh goes to Houston I'd expect Houston to ship Harden and Lin to different teams but get something like Klay Thompson from Golden State. That'd be a nice 5 Howard, Bosh, Parsons, Thompson, and Beverly.

All you need is a coach to say

give bosh the ball on the block or foul line and nowhere else

that's it

You cats need to stop.

I'm already  off the 'moves' Riley made today.

You and me both

Kyrie Irving has made recruiting pitch to LeBron James, sources say. ESPN reports Kyrie as saying Cavs will get LeBron all the help he needs

They say bron might wear #32 for the Cavs this year

''One interesting note from an NBA source: If James returned to Cleveland, he would wear No. 32. He wore No. 23 with the Cavs before and No. 6 with the Heat. The source also indicated James is close to announcing his decision.''

Man Riley better do something Cavs ain't playing.

You'll know the Heat are serious about keeping LeBron if they announce they will not be resigning Wade.

Lebron meeting with Riley face to face to tell him he is bouncing. He is doing things different than 2010. Riley isn't about to find out through Twitter, a special, or any other kind of way. Lebron about to look him face to face like..... "Hey...remember that tough guy speech a couple weeks back...."
