So how many brain dead sheep buying Madden this year???

Without an NFL license, it would be for nothing. Americans are idiots that respond to name recognition. Look in this post! "I buy Madden because I'm an NFL fan and it's the only game we have." Without the Carolina Panthers or Aaron Rodgers being accurately represented, these people aren't going to support that football game no matter how great the physics engine may be.

True, believe me i hate the ea monopoly but ppl act like 2k aint got no shit with them either. Nba2k aint that great itself.

I want another nfl game to play but hopefully 2k aint the only ones allowed

Um there have been alternative games made man, 2k even had their hand in that backbreaker shit, no one was feeling it.

Man yall niggas talk just to talk.

If a developer made a better engine, consept of the game how hard do you think it would be to make it sell it and let people mod it like they do madden and 2k?

Man you know damn well people want NFL teams 2K8 IS a better game engine. It's light years ahead of madden. It does shit madden is not even doing now. But because you're not playing with NFL teams the sheep don't want it. FOH

Everything has it's pros and cons, and a 2K sports title wouldn't be without its faults. We agree on the monopoly situation...what I don't agree with is your damn Dallas Cowboys sig. I think I've been targeting your posts unfairly.

You can always download the 2015 rosters for 14...the only difference is that the rosters won't have pictures of rookieS (I.e. SAMMY Watkins) but they will have the same stats/measurables.

I know what you are saying but those ppl who would play it are there. Think of how many ppl are tired of ea having nfl on lock and just want to play a better game. I have no dog on the fight, shit if live was better this year 2k would be on the shelf. I just want a good game

These sports games should be released every two fucking years anyway. It's just greed getting them released every season. Update the rosters between release dates.

I don't care if it's NBA 2k, FIFA, PES, MADDEN, or NFL2k(if it ever comes again). One release every two fucking years. No more $59.99 for glorified roster updates.

How the fuck does game play LOOK improved when you ain't played it. Foh. They show replay footage not game play footage this is the same run on a hockey ring feel like alladdens. Fuck EA!!

So I have to have the sticks in my hand to tell that the animations are better, the gameplay is smoother, and the graphics are tighter?...

Did you even hit play on the videos I posted?..

I tried to avoid this conversation, but after looking at that gameplay video... I still can't believe niggas are still waiting in line to own this shit. Every year, I hope that they changed the system... but nope. I'll admit that I guess they can't do much with the game engine, but I'll be damned that they can't step up the presentation. I still own Espn 2k5, so I decided to pop it in to compare. Graphically Madden does beat out 2k5, but 2k5 is still light years a head of madden which in this day and age is absolutely pathetic. The crazy part is that the last year that Madden showed any creativity was with Madden 2005. What happened to EA Sports Radio? That's why I don't play this shit anymore.

Every year we get the same thread… Groundhog Day.

Yeah I don't get why this shit hurts peoples souls soooo much. If you don't like it, DON'T FUCKIN BUY IT AND MOVE DA FUCK ON!!!!!!:angry:

I used to be one of those guys, but the older I've grown the less I give a fuck what other people do. But Madden has it's moments and sometimes every 2 or 3 years it's worth while when they don't add or modify some bullshit that didn't need to be done. But hell, I'd donate to see another NFL2K game lol.

This Madden is looking half way decent so far, glad they listened and finally got some real-time celebrations lol. That's far from the biggest issue but it annoyed the shit outta me seeing the same awkward sad ass cut scenes.

I haven't bought a single Lil Wayne CD but yet and still the dumb son of a bitch continues to be successful.obviously, just me and not purchasing is not enough. If the sheep continue to purchase then we all suffer substandard video game football. We have two all start demanding more, and the quicker this happens the quicker we can all enjoy a football game we can all agree is better than we have been subjected to

Some of y'all are taking this NFL2K nuthugging too far, man... :smh:

It's light years ahead of Madden, how?..

Please explain that one too me, bruh...

stop what? Like the bus boycott in Montgomery in 1955 (not comparing Madden to the bus boycott, but this is about the last time that consumers have rallied together enforced change from up high. most every time since, the sheep refuse to inconvenience them selves and we all continue to suffer) if we rallied together we could do without Madden for a year. Use the roster updates that people have suggested on either system. We could do it, but will we? Likely not because of the sheep

It's a bit of an exaggeration but the coverage animations actually exist in NFL2K. Zone coverage worked and the CBs vs WRs actually had physical battles/animations close to real life while in coverage, pursuit angles make more sense, touch rainbow passes for goal line passing (Madden had this decent ONE year, then seemed to deteriorate. It still has a few things Madden is missing.

Shit, after getting rid of my busted 360 for a PS3, I might hit up the trade spot and see if they got NFL2K5 for $2 of whatever lol. Shit is still pretty fly. But Madden's very slowly getting it together a little bit.

Shit still looks nice for how old it is...(ignore this dude talking about SB commercials).

graphics instead of game play thats how they get people

Those graphics don't work for me, shit looks the same Nothing jaw dropping like when it first came to the PS2. I am still trying to figure out why the players union agreed to the exclusive contract with EA? :smh::smh::smh:

this had nothing to do with a players union. This is the NFL all the way. Roger Goodell NOLs marketing and instead of having to football games he wanted to have 1 and allowed one company to buy his allegiance

Well, I just watched some of the live Dev stream and I gotta admit, it's the first time in a long time I've seen anything from Madden pre-release and I seen more good than bad. It looks good this year on new gen at least. A lot of folks at OperationSports are surprisingly impressed for the first time in a while as well. It definitely looks like the best Madden I've seen and I am NOT easily impressed with Madden previews.

EA has some good news for you regarding EA Access: no double subscription on Xbox One unless you want to blast people online in Battlefield 4.

“Any Xbox One gamer can join EA Access and take advantage of the benefits of membership,” said a company representative to Joystiq. “In order to connect to multiplayer gameplay on the Xbox One platform you will need a subscription to Xbox Gold.”

The service in the US runs $4.99 a month and EA has confirmed a £3.99 monthly price for the UK.

An annual membership in US will run you $29.99, but a yearly option in the UK has yet to be announced, per MCV.

A beta is currently running for a selected few, and it’s slated to roll out to more customers in the coming months.

Sony said overnight it had turned down EA Access for PlayStation 4 as the company felt it wasn’t a good value for its customers.

Thus, the reason EA announced it as an Xbox One exclusive yesterday. Maybe if enough PS4 player want the service, Sony will negotiate something at a later date. It wouldn’t be the first time a console maker added or redacted an option or service after enough people spoke up.

Madden will never get my money ever again. They took away the franchise feature for some custom careers crap. They removed the only feature that made me buy the game. I play franchise I build the Browns into a contender. I hardly ever played online and the ruin the game for me so f*** you Madden you ruined video game football.

on Madden 13 when they were removed the franchise mode for custom careers you could no longer Tran plant the players from NCAA onto Madden via the draft classes. just because they've got better artists this year and you can see muscle definition and uniform folds, and oh my god now you can see their tattoos in just like in real life! you people that buy the game every year knowing all you're going toget is an updated roster are the reason why we are at where we're at right now

consumer power. do you know what that is? It is when consumers get together and say, we are not willing to buy or support you until you fix this. The company's relent at first, but the consumer stick together and the change that they demanded is made. With you sheep going out and buying last year's Madden with this year's roster means that they can keep on giving us below standard material because we keep accepting it. the last new Madden I bought was Madden 2008 I believe. And not much has changed

I feel yah, bruh! No franchise mode, no money from me!!
