I can't front, Madden is looking a little better this year...

Madden will never get my money ever again. They took away the franchise feature for some custom careers crap. They removed the only feature that made me buy the game. I play franchise I build the Browns into a contender. I hardly ever played online and the ruin the game for me so f*** you Madden you ruined video game football.
on Madden 13 when they were removed the franchise mode for custom careers you could no longer Tran plant the players from NCAA onto Madden via the draft classes. just because they've got better artists this year and you can see muscle definition and uniform folds, and oh my god now you can see their tattoos in just like in real life! you people that buy the game every year knowing all you're going toget is an updated roster are the reason why we are at where we're at right now

The graphics and animations have been shit the last few years IMO..
But the gameplay actually looks decent this year. Looks like they fine tuned the animations, improved the gameplay, and tightened up the graphics a little bit.

It still has franchise mode I'm the same as you rarely play online. I was told they didn't have then my boy told me it was set up different but it's there and he was correct.

If I get a deal I buy. It's all we got. And over the years I've found that almost all the people that hate Madden suck at it!

If I remember correctly. I have not purchased a Madden Game since 2006. It was around that time and have not copped a Madden game since.

Name recognition means a lot in videogames. Most people don't know who the developers are. The $20 2K5 was their way of getting people to notice them. With more years to compete they could have possibly hurt Madden a lot. For example, NBA 2K.

THIS! Most people, especially you "sports only" gamers don't even seem to know anybody but EA when it comes to your games. I've proven this fact countless times with friends. They think EA is the end all, be all when it comes to sports games. Shit is sickening.
I personally like Pro Evolution Soccer over Fifa, despite some licensing issues and missing players (easily fixed on PC via free mods).

First and foremost i dont give a shit what you play. If you like it then fine, you got people who like different games some choose battlefield over cod, some choose live over 2k, its all preference. Sitting here on your high horse about a fucking game that you dont want to play is flawed and just dumb.
Like i said the sales may have been dented due to 2k basically giving the game away that may be true, but to sit here and act like 2k5 was the better game that year is something i dont agree with. I had both and sent 2k5 back to blockbuster video. Could they have improved? Hell yeah, but that was back when madden was on their game it didnt start to decline til next gen dropped. If you dont see a improvement from the first madden on next gen to tgis years them you are just being pigheaded.

Dudes really be overrating that damn 2k series. NFL 2k shitted on Madden when they were out together.......that I will admit and I DO wish 2k was still around. I'd probably be buying 2k over Madden or at the very least be buying both especially if 2k still dropped before Madden.
But these dudes be talking about how NFL 2k right now is better than the new Madden. That's when shit gets out of hand. Talking about updating rosters and playing that old ass shit.
