**Official 2014 FIFA World Cup Thread**

Yo.. they have Big Brother Brazil here.. shit is still massive.. a couple of years ago two people on the show they had a nasty argument.. i mean they were going at it on some racist shit..white girl vs a black guy... and all the CACS were siding with the white chick (you know how it is)..but the black guy was a soccer player and had won a world cup... and he was like "you're gonna take sides against someone who delivered you a fucking world cup.. a fucking world cup!"... all the crackas did a quick soul check and were like to the white chick "you need to tell him you're sorry so we can all move pass this". World Cups even have crackas going against their natures

:lol::lol::lol: i love it!!

With the injury and suspension, a realistic expectation is that the pressure is on Germany now.

Brazil is going to be without both it's best offensive and defensive player. I already had Germany favored. I don't know if they will feel pressure but it's definitely there's to lose unless Brazil really rallies around this. They told Fred (that Neymar was out) during his post-game interview and he could barely finish the interview because of the tears.

knee to the back

jeez

he was going great too.. they can't take away what he was doing so far he def showed up

who is going to replace him

how are they going to advance?

With Fred playing like shit (brazilians are calling him the Invisible Man) and with Neymar out, they're in real trouble. Even today, two defenders scored. It wasnt like Brazil was really the attack. I think both goals game from corner kicks.

wow.. I thought that nigga was flopping

wow.. I thought that nigga was flopping

I said immediatley that he was likely done for the cup. You can tell when players are ".. I'm not playing anytime soon injured". And he was already crying before hitting the stretcher. Players only cry when they know they're injured to the point where they know they won't be recovering in time. He knew immediately his cup was over.

Damn, Neymar caught it pretty bad. I knew it was real when the ref ran the length of the pitch to check him out.

yeah I didn't realize he was crying till after

Shit, if Brazil still wins.. that's gonna be one epic storyline

When he never took his hands off his eyes, I knew that was it because he was likely crying. These guys know their bodies..you know when something is fucked up for real. He was crying because he knew his cup was over. Ive never been a huge Neymar fan but I feel realy badly for the kid. It's a horrible way to go out and the ref didn't even call a foul. :smh:

They'll come out inspired but losing your best offensive and defensive players when going up against Germany is gonna be a problem.

The press has been saying that Neymar has been a real leader in the locker room too. The players love him so they're taking it all really badly...dudes were crying and shit.

Yea, I can't say that I care for Neymar as a player, but watching that replay, he didn't deserve that shit. Hopefully paralysis isn't even an a possibility. Dude Zuniga will be fined heavy for taking out FIFA's darling.

Shitty way to end a campaign, but it makes you wonder how much this will galvanise that national team now.

Star player goes out with no foul or anything...people are mad as hell down here. Scolari was going IN. I think they're gonna try to win this for Neymar. I think the inspiration is going to be there but Germany is no joke. I would be surprised if they beat Germany. At least Scolari has an out. I lost my best defender to a yellow card and our best player to an injury....

Fucked up about Neymar...:smh:

I'll say this about this sport.....there is absolutely nothing we have here that matches the intensity and passion, which is of course good and bad.

I received a cnn alert about this. I'm not supporting Brasil in this, but as a true competitior, I would want to face a team with a complete roster. Seeing how players are flopping all the time, then getting up and running in the next play, I thought this was bull. As a new fan of the sport, I hate seeing a player go down on the biggest stage in the world.

Scolari had every right to go in tho. Replacing Neymar isn't gonna be an easy task. I'd probably think Willian will get the call, but even that's not guaranteed.

All I can say is that they CANNOT play Germany in the same manner or they're gonna catch a case.

germany is good but if you pressure them they will crack in the back. french played like scared kids.

i just dont understand his choices.

that squad he put together is not well balanced in the attacking line, all the substitute players are shit (Jo :puke:, Bernard , Willian :smh: ) leaving Lucas Moura at home is madness, he's the player who could have come in for Neymar with great dribbling and speed to break down defenses,

I fuckin knew it... I didn't want to say it because I didn't want to believe it. That knee was full force right to the spine. I actually looked at his legs to see if it was still movin. I'm fuckin gutted...without him and Thiago Silva against Germany is going to be a hell of a task. Hulk's gotta step up and be the man and Oscar's gotta bring it. I guess they'll throw Willian in there to replace Neymar :dunno: I think Bernard is to small against Germany.

Lucas would have been a great replacement.

Like when Neymar was left off in 2010 :smh:

No way Moura should have been left off this team but the younger players tend to get fucked over.

Germany got pressure and they haven't crack.

French team is garbage ppl was just hyping them up.

 if the french didnt fuckup their chances they could have scored 2/3 goals. but they played the first 35 min as scared little kids. once the put he pressure they came through the german defense. the second halve the upped the pressure but just was making dumb choices :smh:benzema :smh:

We can say the same thing about Germany.

They missed as many if not more goals.

 @ big side playing like scared little kids.

Fuck all the crying about...families being held hostage back in Cali?

Crying is from 4 years of your life spent qualifying for this tournament to represent your country. It's from playing and leaving everything out on the field. Americans don't understand the passion behind the religion that is football (soccer to you guys).

And until the day we no longer have multiple major sports (options) to enjoy, we will never understand.

It's not a soccer thing, it's a country pride thing. We understand it very well it's the Olympics of Soccer.

Countries best go forward to try and win the championship.

I really dislike comparing our sports to the world cup like there isn't a champions league winner every year.. and premiere league and spanish league and german league and all of those other different leagues that teams win every year and have a new one the next.

really not a reasonable or logical comparison at all.
