~*~2014 NBA OffSeason Thread - Free Agency Starts - 7/1 12am ~*~

If my math is correct they should have roughly $7-8M for Vasquez & one more player, unless they use stretch provision to waive Fields/Novak
1:35pm - 4 Jul 14

Rockets need to look into Vasquez since a lot of the pg's are getting signed already.

Rose actually was surprised to see Anthony, one source said. He had no idea what time the Knicks' free agent would be visiting the Bulls.

This lil dude tryna save face after all that "I dont recruit" talk. Melo aint comin no way.

exactly...melo had that dude running drills and shit
Made the gimpy bitch do suicides for his entertainment.

Melo a ho as nigga tho. Parading around like a prostitute for attention knowing he aint going no where. Greedy ballhog clown gonna sign that max in wack as NY and cake the fuck out.

So it seems Houston doesn't think it has a chance with Lebron. Probably down to the Heat, Cavs, Mavs, and Suns, so it's basically the Heat and Cavs.

Seems like that Gordon shit is dead. Fuck'em. Concentrate on Hawes to spread the floor.

It's amazing that cats still using that Gilbert shit. If anything, they both will be at the podium talking about how stupid they acted in 2010. No attention whore special, no crazy letter.

Ain't him running the team was a problem last go round.
No. He had "input" but was overruled on a few personnel decisions while there. I remember he wanted the healthy Amare but management didn't wanna trade away JJ Hickson.

Dude will be literally running shit this go round. I can only imagine the list of demands and negotiations being made behind scenes.

Dude said he wanted that free agent experiment. What's wrong with that. Let's see what's the best option. High school kids get 5 official visit, maybe he wanted that excitement again.

Any Lebronze stan that jumps off the bandwagon if he leaves the warmth will be publicly crucified on BGOL, and be subject to bans from basketball threads (24 hour time outs)

:lol::lol::lol:

Anything less than an ownership stake or shares of Quicken Loans stock and Inkosi needs to tell Gilbert and Cleveland to "fuck off"

It aint like they can pay him anything close to what he's gonna get in Miami. Im sure Bron's dying to get paid less than Kyrie Irving. :hmm:

Hes a 30year old man. He had that experience in college. Make the best decision and move forward. The guy knew before free agency where he was going. This is clown shit man. Taking tours and shit.

What about Patrick?

Patrick Beverly and Isiah Canaan will be the only pg's on the team once they get rid of Lin. Canaan is raw, undersized and unproven. Rockets can't have them as the only point guards next season :smh: Vasquez would be a nice fit, hell I'd try to get Bledsoe if they can't get any of the other big name free agents.

My dude, you jumped off that Laker bandwagon a long time ago. 90% of your posts the last 2 months have been Heat related, and I havent seen you mention Kobe's "6th ring" in ages. Some of yall dont even try to pretend yall care about what your teams are doing this offseason.

What team you rollin with when he leave King T?

Ain't him running the team was a problem last go round.

Hell yeah. They finally stood up to him in 2010. But prior to that, lebron got what he wanted. Hughes. Brown. Sasha. His boys having full run of the place.

It's one of the reasons Gilbert was so pissed at the way Lebron left. He made the mistake of letting Lebron basically run shit.

Heat cuz he aint leaving.

(When) Durant leaves OKC, you gon stick it out wit Russy? Or when Duncan & Pop retires next year, will you mention the Spurs anymore?
Nah. Fuck them teams. I'm fans of the players. KD and TD leave, amajorfucup leaving too. I suggest you do the same.

Sheeeeeit. They already got that Gilbert card on deck. It was their 'get off the bandwagon free' card.

Let's get one thing strait...I didn't like how Gilbert reacted to the "Game 5" against Boston. You know game 5, was shaking. He was talking wreckless, game 6 when they were eliminated was the too much, coming from a owner.

So me as a Cavs supporter via Lebron is done. Many folks viewed LeBron hour long special as "monkey shit", I felt like it was kinda a slap in the face to Gilbert and a great media/charity opportunity that received bad press.(mainly because he went to south beach, roster with three fucking players ).

If this dude receive this kinda freedom, i might feel differently a little bit...not much much tho !!!

Yea I agree . And also think the Decision got a bad rap. What did Gilbert say after games 5 and 6 tho?

So he'll be able to run shit if he comes back? Ummmm what type of shit is that?

Even more fishy fuck shit.

And what's happened since LeBron stopped running shit and took his talents to south beach?

I can't remember exactly what was said about game 5...

But game 6....

Here some of his chatter:

""He quit," Gilbert said. "Not just in Game 5 [of the NBA Playoffs], but in Games 2, 4 and 6. Watch the tape. The Boston [Celtics] series was unlike anything in the history of sports for a superstar."

The Cleveland Cavaliers were beaten by 32 points in Game 5 of the NBA Playoffs. In that playoff game, James appears uninterested—and seems to be glaring at Cleveland's coaches while the Cavs team attempts to foul in order to get back into the game. LeBron James also made interesting postgame comments, including a reference that he had "spoiled" people with his basketball play over seven seasons.

Gilbert also said he believes James quit on the Cavs in Game 6 of their series in 2009 against Orlando.

"Go back and look at the tape," he said. "How many shots did he take?"

Gilbert, who has owned the Cavs for five years of James’ seven seasons, said he was most disappointed by James' behavior in the months leading up to the superstar's announcement that he was leaving for Miami—James will be joining Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh.

Cavaliers owner Gilbert whined that LeBron James never returned a single phone or text message since the end of the NBA season--and that the Cavs were not informed of James' decision before his decision was aired to the media and news.

The Cavs didn’t know? Really? Hmmm…wouldn’t that lack of returned phone calls in itself serve as the indicator.

Cleveland Cavs owner Gilbert says that Rich Paul, one of James' business partners, called the Cavs only moments before media announcement of the move to Miami."

Let Pau Gasol go to the Warmth, or the Lakers finish dead last again. You won't find me switching teams.

I've been talking about Free agency. Bronze is not coming to the Lakers, neither is Carmello.

And of course the last few months haven't been about my squad, they were ass this year and didn't make the playoffs. Why would I talk about a 6th ring when my team isn't even playing.

I got jokes cause if Bronze Debo'd Wade and Bosh, it will be the funniest shit ever.

You just keep on that Warmth jersey, winter is coming...

First, Peyton Manning basically said it was between Denver and Arizona it's a 50% chance at nailing it. I'm highly doubt a guy like that would have breaking news about Lebron going to Cleveland before anyone. Two, if somehow Lebron did go to Cleveland that would be some scary shit for the whole league cause if he made niggaz like boobie Gibson and mo Williams serviceable he going to make them young boys look like HOF's.

I can't remember exactly what was said about game 5...

But game 6....

I remember that. He was way out of line for that shit.... Cleveland just got overwhelmed by the better team. Shit that asswhooping got James to start his own big 3. He didn't quit though I do think he wasn't giving 100 percent at the end... just too much water leaking out of the ship man... he couldn't do it all by himself.
