Jay King: People I talked to expected about $6 mil per so 8 might be little high. But market might be crazy and Cs locked up good, improving player. Twitter @ByJayKing

im hearing that Wade and Bosh have signed their deals
Wade gettin 12mil.....Bosh 11mil.....
still enuff left to give Lebron his max and have 13mil leftover to offer
to some other free agents.

You have a bad agent if you're getting less than 5 mil in the NBA

The only players making less than that are players under their rookie contract and players who are barely hanging on in the league

You don't even have to be an all star to make ten mil if you're seven foot

Teams pay role players...the fourth thru sixth best players on their team seven and eight mil. Shit is crazy.

Teams fuck it up for themselves

Washington's owner is smart.....dude is locking up the core players....
something Cuban should've done when we won back in 11'.

I agree Cuban should've done it but i'm not sure if the Wiz should do it. You locking up journeymen like Gortat and Ariza? Its the right move I think especially since you probably can't lure anyone to come play for you but when we start talking about the money they getting? Letting them walk wouldn't have been terrible. But they have to sell something to their fans. I think they needed to upgrade some talent on that team and give Wall even more help. But i'm not sure if they can bring in those guys that can do it. I guess at this point it should be about strengthening that bench.

If the Heat add Deng does that mean Lebron goes to PF full time?

And Bosh to center?

You don't want Deng or Lebron playing SG too much

I feel like the Heat would be better off getting a good PG or Center

I thought that was the goal. I think Deng and Stephenson can help defensively but its not gonna prevent those droughts of where the Heat can't do shit but look at Lebron jack up jumpers. Them dudes were not a Loul Deng or Lance Stephenson away from winning the Finals this year.

I thought they were going into this free agency trying to upgrade their 5 spot and the 1.

if Gasol would agreed to the full MLE,.....that would be great for the Heat

Depends on how low of a salary Wade and Bosh are taking.

Okay I see if you're under the salary cap you get a 2.5 million mid-level exception. I don't know if Gasol still trying to get paid or not. 2.5 seems a bit low.

Gasol fits perfectly with the heat cause he can play the 5 with his back to the basket

Heat should go after Isiah Thomas or keep cole and Napier combo

Napier>cole
Wade>Ray
Bron>Lewis
Bosh>Beasley "if they keep him"
Gasol >Oden or Perkins

seems like it is true.......question is......who else will they add.
they dont need Lowry......4 fuckin point guards on the team.....smh
Cole and Chalmers would be out if they got him.
they need to go after Deng or Stephenson.

Stephenson would not be allowed on the Heat as long as Lebron is there. Deng is Lebron's greatest defender so that might work.

On a side note. I'm rooting for Carmelo to go to Chicago. With or without Rose that team would win the championship. He's not going to Dallas, NY, Houston or Miami. LA and Chicago or the only options.

That team is not winning a chip. Sorry.

He's not going to NY? That's the frontrunner from my understanding.

And Chicago still couldn't do shit if Pooh hurt. If Pooh hurt....Bulls still gonna be under the Pacers and Heat. If Pooh is healthy......I can see them as a legit contender.

Can we stop calling this nigga Pooh? Anyway, Chicago's only issue is scoring. Melo and Rose would be a contender for years. Miami and definitely not Indiana cant mess with that. Also, lance is not wanted on this team, we already have JR, we don't want JR XL

Sources: Cavs prep max offer for Hayward

http://espn.go.com/nba/story/_/id/1...-maximum-offer-sheet-gordon-hayward-utah-jazz

The Cleveland Cavaliers are hosting restricted free agent forward Gordon Hayward for a visit Wednesday and are preparing a huge offer sheet to try to pry him away from the Utah Jazz, sources told ESPN.com.

The Cavs, who have the ability to clear as much as $20 million in salary-cap space, are believed to be willing to start a deal at the maximum contract number of about $15 million per season.

The Cavs see Hayward as a compliment to young franchise cornerstones Kyrie Irving and No. 1 overall draft pick Andrew Wiggins.

The Cavs, who got a commitment from Irving to sign a five-year, $90 million extension earlier this week, see Wiggins as a shooting guard. Hayward would become the small forward.

The Cavs had been hoping to secure a meeting with LeBron James but haven't been unsuccessful and moved on to make Hayward their top few agent target.

Hayward averaged 16.2 points, 5.1 rebounds and 5.2 assists for the Jazz last season in 77 games, all starts. He had seven games with double-digit rebounds and six with double-digit assists. He scored more than 20 points in 22 games.

Hayward was selected with the ninth overall selection in the 2010 draft out of Butler. For his career, he's averaged 12 points, 3.4 rebounds and 3.1 assists in 287 games, 179 of them starts.

No offer sheets can be signed until July 10.

Yahoo! Sports had earlier reported Hayward was visiting the Cavs.

He Pooh until he gets off them sidelines and out of them suits. He can be Derrick Rose when he plays atleast 50 games next season. Low bar.

Not talking about Lance. I'm talking about Melo. NY can give him the most money. Off back that should make them frontrunners. Plus he doesn't have to worry about playing defense.

And you're assuming Rose is gonna come back to form IF he's healthy. We still don't know.
