Ref mad the U.S. eliminated his country last World Cup.

Anyone notice that when Belgium parked the bus, the U.S. started peppering them. While Belgium was peppering the U.S. for the majority of the game because we were parking the bus?
Fucking Mourinho making bus-parking even more widespread.![]()

Baaaahaaa yeah right
I got Bradley on my car now. I even cut my dog bald

I still don't get why team do that shit![]()
Either you play to win or you fucking lose.
Sit there for 1 hour and chill out
then try to win in the last 20 minutes after you give up the goals
i didn't want it to happen but it did
sad thing is that we played back and didn't defend.
so why stay back?
then try to win in the last 20 minutes after you give up the goals
I'm pleased that the US team is out of the way, they're not really at the level of this competition. They were lucky the score was not 7 to 1.
It's cause it works. It might not be aesthetically pleasing, but I get it.
Not all teams are suited to play pretty football.

now..........do you start Lukaku against Argentina or have him come off the bench again?
It doesn't workclearly
You don't have to push everyone forward but you need a clear defined back line and we didn't have it
and we needed creators but they were all on the bench.
it doesn't have to be pretty just make sense.
I hasn't worked for most of the teams in this cup. Pretty much every team that has parked the bus has lost. Belgium almost let us tie it up at the end.

Don't get me wrong gents... I'm no advocate of bus parking at all. I just understand it as a tactic. It's annoying and stupid negative football, but it does work for certain teams.
Personally, I prefer to take the match to teams all day long, but when you're technically inferior, what exactly do you do? If you go balls to the walls, you're gonna get fucked.
And Pino made this most sturgent point here..
Mourinho can single handedly take credit for all these "11 behind the ball" tactics because he's won 3 Champions League by doing so.
It's done against possession minded teams, and teams with better quality per man. Ask any Barcelona/Spain fan sitting in here right now.
Park 11 in front of goal, force them wide, clog the middle... Mourinho drew up the blueprint and teams have been using it to succeed.
Again, I'm not advocating this bullshit, I just get why it's done.

We should have had these young dudes come in.
Green, brooks, yedlin, native american dude get them in there.
Altidore goes down, don't fall back put someone in there to take his place don't let dempsey sit there by himself.
our midfield is trash either way
we need creators.. you see dudes have point blank shots and can't even put it in the back of the net.
green comes in and catches a pass and puts it right in 1st touch of his career in the world cup.

My nigga... I screamed for Mix Diskerud this entire match.
Lemme break it down a bit..
--------------------Jozy Altidore
Graham Zusi-----Clint Dempsey-----Alejandro Bedoya
-----------Michael Bradley----Jermaine Jones
Beasley----Gonzalez-----Besler--------Fabian Johnson
This is the lineup we wanted to play more times than not... Now Jozy goes down, and it gets shaken to this...
--------------------Clint Dempsey
Graham Zusi-----Michael Bradley-----Alejandro Bedoya
----------Geoff Cameron----Jermaine Jones
Beasley-------Gonzalez------Besler--------Fabian Johnson
Already, Dempsey and Bradley are out of their natural positions. This is why I kept saying that you guys were harsh on Bradley... It wasn't his natural role to begin with.
My whole question is why this didn't happen..
--------------Clint Dempsey or Aron Johanson
Graham Zusi-----Mix Diskerud-----Alejandro Bedoya
--------------Michael Bradley----Jermaine Jones
Beasley----Gonzalez-----Besler--------Fabian Johnson
This way, the foundation stays the same, Bradley can deliver from his holding role, and Mix can create and bring everyone into the game.
With quality going forward, we would have been better off, but for some reason, Michael Bradley was handed a role that he had ZERO business playing.

I won't even start with the number of things wrong with this "stat"/comparison
Sorry bro, I didn't mean to use you as fodder... but you do make my point.
