Lowry, Deng linked to Heat early in NBA free agency

If NBA free agency is about prioritizing, then put Toronto Raptors guard Kyle Lowry and Cleveland Cavaliers forward Luol Deng near the top of the Miami Heat's wish list.
Whether Heat President Pat Riley has the means to close such deals is another story.

With the stroke of midnight and the start of the free-agency negotiating period, the Heat were among the first teams to express interest in that duo, also making interest known to several other free agents, according to numerous media reports.
In addition to Lowry and Deng, reports, often fueled by agents seeking to increase the market for their players, also linked the Heat to free-agent interest in Utah Jazz forward Marvin Williams, Dallas Mavericks guard Vince Carter, Mavericks forward Shawn Marion, Washington Wizards forward Trevor Booker, Oklahoma City Thunder forward Caron Butler and Golden State Warriors guard Steve Blake.
The Heat also reportedly expressed interest in Sacramento Kings guard Isaiah Thomas, who is a restricted free agent, with Sacramento retaining the right to match outside offers.

The Heat to this point have not shown up on Carmelo Anthony's itinerary.

As for the Heat's stars, they're apparently letting Riley handle the work for them while they get away, with forward Chris Bosh on an extended break, with a trip that features a stop in Ghana, and forward LeBron James planning a trip to Brazil after the July 10 free-agency signing day to attend the World Cup championship game. James is then scheduled for a trip to China, indicating expectations of a swift resolution to his free agency.
Bosh, James and Wade met last week in Miami to discuss their free-agency approach, with their salary scale apparently forwarded to Riley. Each invoked an early-termination clause in their contract to provide the Heat greater flexibility for a makeover, among other reasons.
None of the Heat's stars have been linked to outside visits.
The Heat are not in position to offer a maximum contract should their Big Three, as expected, return, but do have a variety of options to offer smaller deals to players intrigued with playing for a team that has advanced to the past four NBA Finals and won championships in 2012 and '13.
The Heat have taken an approach of subtle additions to their core in recent years, adding Shane Battier in the 2011 offseason, Ray Allen in the 2012 offseason and Michael Beasley and Greg Oden last offseason. This, however, is the first time they have operated with cap space since James, Wade and Bosh signed to play together in South Florida in July 2010.
While free-agent contracts cannot be finalized until July 10, most leading free agents have deals in place well ahead of the annual signing date.

BDR had a starting line of Lowry, Wade, Bron, Bosh, Gortat...And some other name brand cats coming off the bench!

That's aight Deng and Lowry still in the works

But I been wanting the heat to get gortat when he was in Phoenix this is nothing new

Pistons offer Isaiah Thomas a three-year deal
As reported originally by Rotoworld.com, multiple reports confirm the Pistons are offering restricted free agent Isaiah Thomas a 3-year contract worth $24 million.
Thomas is a restricted free agent, so the Kings will have a chance to match any offer sheet he signs, and it doesn't sound like he's signed this one yet. There have also been rumblings that Sacramento views Thomas as more of a sixth man so it's possible they deem this offer too rich for their liking, though they may be sensing that their original evaluation was way off. Brandon Jennings will probably end up being shipped out if the Pistons can acquire Thomas according to sources if they are able to land Thomas. IT2 would become an interesting fantasy option if he ends up starting alongside Josh Smith, Andre Drummond, and potentially Greg Monroe. Right now the Pistons and Kings are neck-and-neck favorites for the Pizza Guy.

With ALL of Cuban's fuckery you dont DESERVE even a single one big name.

While I agree I'm still a Mavs fan and was one before he got here so I'm still riding for the Mavs

Riding for Dirk

But Cubans comments will hold no bearing on why we won't land a big name this summer

Let's make that clear too

They weren't coming even if he never said a mumbling word

Dirk deserves another running mate.

Monta is good enough. Monta is a good Robin. I think they just need 1 more solid Robin though that's consistent.

And yeah don't let that shit confuse you. These players don't give a shit about Mark's comments. Them Clippers players had no problem playing for Sterling. These dudes about their money.

The players like Cuban. If they don't land anyone it won't be because of his comments its gonna be because no one wants to play in Dallas. That's in regards to dudes like Melo. Now the next tier of stars? The Luol Deng's? Well shit he's more 3rd tier but guys like Kyle Lowry or Isiah Thomas? Mavs can land those guys. Its just playing the free agency game of overspending. But to pry a dude like Melo away? He's clinched to the hip of Lebron, Wade, etc.

I disagree. And so does AD. Zeke was on some ho shit bro. And he absolutely wanted to play with his boy. If your memory is as good as it seems, then you recall the players being pissed about the trade. Especially Dumars. Zeke orchestrated that shit. And call him a ball stop all you want, he was the best player on the team during that finals matchup when they got hosed against LA. Zeke wanted the guy gone. And he also wanted to play with his butt boy and fellow chi town closet homo Mark Aguire (yea shaddy I said it, fuck you gone do faggit).

Damn niggu u was my sack early in the am

Eewwll owned you and u thought about me?

Im a Noah fan so I would love for his play to get rewarded with competing for a title. Melo would mesh well I think in terms of bringing the scoring they need. But that silly ass Chicago mamas boy nigga is a big question mark that no big time free agent is fucking with. The Bulls are screwed.

Enter shaddy....

"pooh pooh :jackoff:pooh pooh $350million :blowjob: pooh Chicago niggus pooh adidas pooh..."

:smh:

U fucking piece of shit scum

Why are u mad at Chicago niggas advancining far in life financially.

U mad Robert griffin Tryna do what pooh does and he's failed miserably?

They gift wrapped his Roy like they did lebron.

Worry about that shit wreck Jew franchise.

Pooh Neva leaving chicago faggit

Brandon Jennings to LA watch

im hearing unconfirmed reports over here that Bosh is inking a 5 year/$55mil deal.......and Wade in the neighborhood of $12 mil a year.
again....this shit is unconfirmed,.....but its whats out there on the wire right now.
if so.....this would be the type of contracts they'd have to do in order to give Lebron his max.

Bosh taking a Tim Duncan/KG/Dirk contract and they got 6..7..8 years on him :smh::lol:

In his prime taking literally half of what another team could give him

He's a sucka. He's really scared to lead a team as the #1 option and wants to hide behind Lebron to the point he'd take a pay cut to do it. That's crazy.

Why would Pooh leave Ch-Town. He eating damn good sitting on the sidelines in a suit. Shady being Jay Williams'd and don't even know it.

Home cooking mamas boy ass crybaby faggit. Why would he leave? Maxed out and in a suit. And its "not his job to recruit". Leave for what? And he got lil niggas like shaddy running his PR team for free.

Bosh isn't a number one option. You see what Toronto was doing with him @ number 1 in what everyone called a weak east. He is a Kevin Love type. He will fill the stats, but he isn't going to lead a team to shit as a number 1. He's made to be a 2nd or third.

Yep

They put off his new contract until they see who we gonna get

If I was him in would bail to Houston if the players we get are unsatisfactory like in 2011, 2012, and 2013

Just leave fuck Cuban and Donnie

Dirk shouldn't stick with the way Cuban dumped after you guys got the ring. Fuck that shit. Dirk still good for at least 20 a game and can easily put some teams over the top.

Fuck is up with players being loyal to owners who dump after rings?

The muthafucka won't even recruit. The least he could do in that damn suit.

Ehh......I get that but still. As a competitor.....you taking a paycut to play 2nd fiddle? Nah. But that's his state of mind. He doesn't believe he's a #1. I get it. I know on that Raptors team now though if he was on it the Raptors would be a solid team and be a playoff team.

Raptors were a poorly built team when Bosh was there. Same goes for the T-Wolves. They don't suck because of their #1's. They're just not well built teams.

Because Dirk was probably down with it. The plan was always to prolong Dirk's career and give him younger pieces surrounding him. They sold him on Dwight Howard and Deron Williams. They had no plan B. Dirk wasn't oblivious to the shit. Him and Cuban are boys.

Pooh just walked in the meeting

images

walked?

Aint that a bitch! He dressed for the job but don't wanna do it!

And no way I believe Bosh taking less than Wade. He cant be that desperate to stay in South Beach.:smh:

I'm now surprised tho, dude really is a team player...
