Although its basically just Messi, but if they actually get the support from Di Maria and company...smooth sailing for them I'd think if result holds
Argentina has been average at best so far.. Messi has just been saving them at the end.. their keeper is average, defense average, attack subpar.... it's really just been all Messi at this point. They can lose at any point. I'm not even confident they will their next match.

Nope. His entire team is playing great. Mexico's keeper has been a brick wall. He's eating everything.
Memo's been fantastic dont get me wrong, but most of the shots have come directly to him.
I haven't seen him stretch for finger tip saves yet..

What?! I agree the team has been playing well but he has been man of the tournament for me. Ochoa has been playing well but take away his performance vs Brasil....I don't even think he'd be in the convo
But that's apart of it to. he's anticipating so well that he's right on top of the ball. Some of those against Brazil were just amazing.
He's played extremely well. There is no denying that. However, even his second goal was a result of a 5 pass set with a perfect header to him. That's the result of great team play. When a goalie is blanking great offensive teams and leaving games with a clean sheet, it's all on him. Mexico's team is average. They only qualified because the U.S. folded our last game so they could get in. Their defense is average at beast. Their riding their keeper.
He's given up ONE goal over 4 games! and that's after playing Croatia, Brazil, and Holland.
Mexico isn't attacking enough
In that match in particular, EVERYTHING was at his body.
I'll give him that one just now against Robben, and i'm not taking anything away from him by any means, but most goalkeepers are judged by the spectacular.

I hear what you're saying but the one he saved off the corner about 10 minutes ago was spectacular to me. He didn't have to stretch out for it but the reflexes to block were awesome. 90 percent of the time that's a goal. He might be "guessing" right but he's anticipating so well that a lot of these are at his bodies because he's at the perfect spot every time.
