I show up every year on the first day of the cup... not knowing who is who. Maybe by next time I'll actually know who's on the team beforehand.
On defense in the NFL, you are taught to knock the ball down and away, but in futbol the ball is still alive and playable after a punch or swat.

I usually don't root of the US when it comes to internation competition but been out with my blue/red/white on cheering the boys this year.
I say Bradley should sit vs. Belgium and Zusi needs to be taken off corners. The man is just over shooting those corners....I have no idea what he's doing with them. But definitely keep Jones in an attacking position. Good things happen when he's going forward.

US and Costa Rica got lucky, 4 yrs ago Costa Rica lost all three games. Mexico is the only real football nation in concacaf
You can't be overrated when no one rates you to begin with.
Man.. US is in a good spot.
Going through Belgium, Switzerland/Argentina is much better they some of the other roads to the finals some other teams have.
Of course if they don't beat Beligum, it doesn't matter.. but if they do.. I can see them making it to the semi-finals

US did what they had to do as underdogs in the Group of Death and got out.
Costa Rica breezed through a group with three teams that combined for 7 World Cup trophies, and not only decimated them, but did so with ease.
And Mexico barely qualified out of CONCACAF, if not for that "lucky" US team.
But it's straight, like Pino said, "nobody rates CONCACAF." I was just interested in your opinion.
Tell you one thing, if that's "lucky", I need to learn some luck.

im proud of my ghana squad they out but they fought hard.

one with US winning is my heart. Brazil winning is my head with a little heart mixed in at the end. I can realistically see them pulling it off at home, AND it would be kinda fun.
