Not true, he beat a former light-heavyweight and an undersized heavyweight champ in Michael Spinks. He also beat a former heavyweight champ who was at the end of his career and hadn't fought in nearly two years, that was Larry Holmes, and let's not forget he also beat two of the worst fighters to ever be called champion, Trevor Berbick and Bruce Seldon.
Only if Tyson somehow scared Ali and I doubt that very seriously. Many of of Tysons wins came from his opponent being afraid of what they saw coming toward them and they did not box him. Ali wasn't afraid of any boxer. As soon as Buster Douglas provided the blue print for beating tyson he was nothing. And that blue print was very simple....Just box him. Which Ali absolutely did in many different ways with many different styles. Tyson wouldn't have a chance. His jaw isnt even as tough as Fraziers. U put a hit on Tyson and he's down and out flopping around like a fish out of water. And we all have seen that before, but not Ali. Ali fell got straight up shook it off and won the fight or took it to a decision and lost one fight. And on top of that it was 15 rounds not some pussy ass 10 or less.

Power vs speed...one had better defense than the other.....but one responded well 95% of the time after he got hit or knocked down...so I dont really know.
We can talk about who they boxed against.....cause i do that a lot in Basketball when folks try to say LBJ is great....both imho...both Boxers were VERY SKILLED and two of the best ever. Imma leave it at that.....

Nobody beats Ali...a prime motivated Ali...nobody. His chin was legendary. And he got payback against all who beat him. And he beat the 2 biggest monsters of his time...by KO!
He fought with a broken jaw and lasted the distance. His only stoppage was against Holmes, an ATG and former sparring partner, when Dundee stopped it.
Ali beats Dempsey, Louis, Johnson, Corbett, Tunney, Marciano, Tyson, Holyfield, and Lennox Lewis.
