So Officer Ricky Got Chased Out Of Detroit

i dont remember this much outrage when berg was getting tossed-- this thread is about ross getting chased out of the d- but some how its about do white rappers have to pay trick trick?-- who knows, maybe artist of all genre "donate" to avoid the bs, but the topic at hand is ross gets chased out the d-- if he a boss why dont he make the call, or doesnt he have a connect in the d?

I disagree we all know Ross ain't real & Tricks army is. I just wonder why Ross would think HE of all people would get a pass.

I was mad when the Lox got into this shit too. Young Berg gets his chain snatched in every city. Its who he is.

It happens but nowhere near the level of Detroit. How does this dude do this and no questions are asked? It sounds more like an old terrible rapper trying to get money because his music is terrible and he can't make a profit off of it. Dude dropped a mixtape in January no one was checking for.

Shyt might just be personal, you never know. rappers are here all the time with no incident.

Alright I just seen Rozay Twitter......it was all a misunderstanding......it was really some "protestors" with picket signs.....not them Trick Trick goons....

Can somebody post where it said trick trick did this or somewhere where he's takin responsibility for this

Probably because this wasn't his first or last time going to Detroit. You think he's NEVER been to Detroit in his 10+ years of touring?

:smh: Trick Trick over there calling white people Mr. And Mrs.

:smh::smh::smh:

Shit is as fake as Rozay's drug dealing past.......

So no local artist is going to call him out on this? No local radio personality is going to interview him and ask how does this help the city? This happens in no other city but Detroit. I agree with you completely. I would have demanded a refund, if the top biller didn't perform because the local and worst rapper in the city was strong arming out of town rappers for money. Trick Trick has been doing this shit for years. I still can't believe no one called him out on this bullshit. Local or out of town....:smh:

I know its all ignorant, but Trick is actual thinks that hes helping the local artists by doing this shit. His reasoning is that he will do this to artists or labels who don't put Detroit artists on in some capacity. This dude helps out alot of our local artists on the low, but they're all knuckle heads who thinks the world owes them something.

For instance... Meek Mills put Dusty McFly on his tour, so he has a pass here, but Ross' got revoked.. Jeezy pass been good, thats why he signed the DoughBoyz Cashout. I remember Trick was about to get at the YG and them for doing a show here until Doughboyz Cashout intervened, with him being their label mate.

Trick does shows around the city putting lesser known acts up with more known acts trying to establish name for them. He once had a compilation album with major distribution involving local artists with bigger name industry artists and the damn local artists got big headed, so he said "fuck em". He does a lot of shit that looks ignorant on paper, but in his heart he thinks he's helping Detroit hip hop.

DUDE this my shitty, trust all dude has to do is hit the east side, 7mile van dyke and he can pick and choose like texans getting day workers from home depot:smh:

Fuck it. You want to be a tough talking gangster, you go to someone's town and they have the right to test you.

Now if this was some other type of rapper- it'd be wrong.

Ross don't care. They still had to cut him that check. If security is an issue at an event and the artist can't perform the promoter has to eat the cost.

Good looking. I missed this fam. Well when them fake YouTube thugs was on Ross head it was a lot of cats on here talkin he better cut the check or he can't go to this place or that place. Folks found out yesterday the only place he couldn't come without cutting that check. Oh well.

 The H does this huh? I guess they do it to mainstream acts because I know local cats who cake off doing shows all throughout Texas and aint' paying no damn TAX. But you must be talking on a bigger scale.

I hear you, son. But dude is 40 years old. That shit is corny and lame. When you make good music, trust and believe the people will come. He didn't say anything you stated on the video that was posted. I suspect he just wants to line his pockets.

Exactly. Let's keep it 100. Its all assumptions here but Rozay is one of the bigger rappers to come through....he didn't pay a tax and I guess they wanted to collect their tax at the gate.

Didn't have nothing to do with him not putting dudes on because if that's the case how can Meek get the past because he put dudes on his tour but Rozay can't when Rozay is the one funding his tour?

Them cats went at Rawse simply because they could. Wasn't no reasoning behind it aside from getting some bread.

This is from 2005

Opinion piece, but like I was saying

Em and Big Sean are getting it in their own way

Trick Trick, who’s album The People vs. drops today, is well known in Detroit for being a certified G. Him and his crew have notoriously banged out with Trick Daddy and D Block, and Trick himself just beat a body last year at trial. His lead single, Welcome to Detroit, features an Em verse and hook and is supposedly doing well on Detroit radio. I downloaded the track the other day to see what all the fuss was about and I was not impressed. I guess I’ve heard worse rap music in my life, but nothing about this single says ‘hit record outside of Detroit’ to me. Trick’s flow is average and his lyrics are pretty much the standard ‘I’m an O.G. who raps now’ fare that you get from these types. As I’m listening to the song it occured to me, why would Em co-sign this guy? You can say what you want about D12, and I usually do, but at the end of the day I’ll admit that most of them can actually rap. I even read in some interview with Trick Trick, that Em basically did the whole song himself. He did the beat, the hook, and his verse, put it on a cd and handed it to this guy. What part of the game is that? The only logical answer I can come up with is that Trick Trick has Hailie and Kim tied up in a basement somewhere. I mean, has anybody actually seen Kim since Em announced they were getting back together last month? Yeah, exactly. Em didn’t have verses on either Obie or Proof’s albums, and those are his right hand mans, so you do the math.

Man I know cats that are from Dallas....Mississippi, Louisiana....all do shows in Texas and in the H and there was no "tax". I don't know if the tax is only for niggas like The Lox or Rick Ross or what but there ain't no tax going down. You would've BEEN heard about it. Especially with these attention whores out here who like to brag and can't keep shit to themselves.
