Spo has to limit Rio's minutes as soon as he realizes that he isn't engaged. He's being exploited on both sides of the floor. What's worst is that he's sleeping on defense and now watching his man and just floating in the lane not defending anyway.

Spo has to determine how he's going to use Lebron defensively and not use Lebron as a patch for not creating an effective defensive strategy. Lebron was gassed. So much of their offense depends on Lebron creating for other players.. he's can't do that effectively when he legs are gone.

They need to come over the top of the pick and roll. I would rather let the Spurs get in the lane than start doing attack and dish to a spot shooter.

:smh: True. But the success of the heat has been more about Lebron's maturation as a player than anything else.

The Spurs blew Miami about by almost 40 in game 3 of the Finals last year though. That was in San Antonio though. Miami will adjust and most likely win game 4 though.

Just thinking, Cole gives up so much weight and gets worn down, and Allen can not splay extended mins, in other words they may be stuck with Rio...
But if I were Spo I would play LeBron at pg, and play Beasly, Wade, Bosh and Lewis...

Here is my conspiracy for today. Jamie Foxx who is from Texas was probably cracking jokes and snapping on the players within earshot and them niggas was so weak it distracted their(Miami) focus. I bet Pop paid for his seat too. Spo probably complained and security removed Foxx from that seat.

When I read how Spol should move LeBron to PG or keep him guarding Parker, etc all I can do is just :smh:

Dude is the best player on the planet but he is only human. You can't expect him to plug every whole and fill every need or eventually he's going to break down. The Heat showed a lot of character tonight by not cashing it in after probably the greatest half of offensive ball we will ever see, but damnit LeVron needs CONSISTENT help. If people didn't expect the Spurs to make adjustments after game two they were sadly mistaken. They've been at this too long.

LeBron can't be expected to do it all, and even the best have bad games. His team needs to step up, the Spurs aren't just going to give it to them...

The 1st is what beat Miami. 41 pts was crazy. I think coach will stick with Mario because he can have big games.

Cant straddle the fence eewwll. My overall point was right as it was the last series we had similar points. They would continue to play at that pace as long as they got open looks and moved the ball. It wasn't a fluke shooting performance that would merely be "corrected" in the second half. And yes, we agree that Spurs typically have slow starts in Q3.

If Rio is not hitting his shots, he seems to fall apart everywhere else on offensive (turning the ball over, etc). And he's sleeping on defense. You can sleep against teams like OKC that play a lot of one on one ball.... but not against the Spurs offense.. too much pick and roll, backdoor, drive and dish play... and they all pass well so your main is going to move to an open spot on the floor and get a nice clean look. It's happening too much.

The problem with Miami is not the offense. People have to realize that the Spurs are a really good offensive team.. they score a lot of points. They were 4th in the league in scoring and average 10 more points per game than Miami. Miami has to figure out their defensive issues.

Rio is looking really bad out there. He's gotta get the shit together or he's gonna have to sit... i mean..if he can't get the shit together at home I don't know what to say

He's was 0-5 with 3 turnovers and that doesn't really illustrate how poorly he really played :smh:

He lead miami in turnovers in game 1...had 5 of them.. Miami aren't deep enough this year to have a starter playing so shitty

Nope. You can't expect that... what's why he had 7 turnovers tonight... he was gassed.. you could see he didn't have his legs under him in the second half.

They only scored 40 points in the entire second half man. They were WAY off their first half pace and had a low output. Miami just couldnt sustain a run on the offensive end...which I wasn't really expecting them to do but it wasn't because of the Spurs second-half offense. Some teams are first-half team... The Spurs will jump on you early and get so far ahead that an average second half is typically enough.. but they'll definitely play an average second half a majority of the time.

Wade possibly but mainly on the offensive end. I don't know how his knees really are right now.

Rio, hasn't hit rock bottom yet..trust me. I'm not predicting doom for him but he hasn't played as bad as he could be playing just yet.
