This is exactly what they did when they made their little run, I know the Heat love flying on defense but vs a passing team sometimes you just have to take it to the playground and go one on one, call the picks and not let them beat you on stupid switch offs..

You said something similar in the previous series and I told you it was because that's how they play and if they continue to get the same looks then they would. This was a game they were shooting 65%. And they shoot similarly that entire series. These are fluke shots they are hitting. The Heat aren't playing defense.

You are right that they are notorious for letting teams back from leads but that's typically when their large lead is due to a in game run. This isn't a run. Its a sustained offense exploiting bad defense. Miami made their run and its still 21 point deficit. Im not sure the Heat can come back tonight.

I've seen the Spurs do this so often. They seem to burn themselves out. It's extremely hard to shoot almost 80 percent of an entire game. Last time they did this (in their last series against OKC), they came back down to earth in the 3rd quarter. Plus, the opposing team usually makes some adjustments....one person can usually stay hot for an entire game...but usually not an entire team.

I said this series is going 7 and I stick by that call.. these teams are really evenly matched. I think it's going to end exactly like last year.

In that game, they were getting ALL layups. I think you in particular even said it's easy to shoot 70 percent when you're getting layups so it wouldn't change. They came out and barely shot 40 percent in the 3rd quarter. I actually quoted your post and reminded you of what I said when the quarter finished. I was actually thinking about that when I made that post.

Teams often come out cold after the half-time break and the opposing team makes an adjustments. These teams are too evenly matched. They'll only continue to shoot like that if Miami packs up and quits.

Coach Spo will get in their asses. They'll feel embarrassed about being outplayed like this in the third quarter and Spo will decide to give something and take something away. I think he's going to push out and take away the 3 point shot. They shot 70 percent from three. You have to pick your poison and I would rather Duncan kill me in the paint than having multiple people getting clean looks outside.

San Antonio goes through scoring funks and periods where they forget about Duncan.

Spurs are packing the paint with their big men daring them to shoot outside, Bosh and Lewis need to loosen them up with the three point bombs, then LeBron should be free to attack the hole. They must be smart and patient and take what the defense is giving them...
