classic ole girl was sexy as fuck and Bernie mac was fucking hilarious as dolla bill. Plus they told the truth, aint nothing but all whole bunch of drama in da trap for real.

Hood/Cult classic for sure

If you haven't seen it at least once on MTV or something, I can't fuck with you personally.

Classic?

We really need to be more selective on how we throw that word around. I love the nudity and there are some great lines in it but its merely a nice way to pass two hours.

It's a classic.

The end kinda fell off but, classic.

At the time, and from where the movie came from, I think says a lot about the talent Ice Cube. In Friday he was the main character and it was the day adventures from a man's point of view. In The Players Club he was able to make this story come to life that focused on a woman...while keeping the men happy.

Saying it's a hood classic is still saying it's a classic.

I think hood classic means the average white, latino(light skin) and asian don't even know this film exists...

Without reading all the other resposes:

I feel like any pre 1999 movie with Bernie Mac is a hood classic. Before he got real money. That brother made the most of his cameos, funny as hell.

Yep classic for two reasons. All Bernie Macs lines and to Lisa Raye's character being the only stripper ever who wasn't a hoe and actually was stripping to pay her way through college.

Classic, I know that movie line by line, it had everything comedy, drama, action, nudity, gunfire
