im fine with my regular job and my side hustle. the money i make fixing computers from home & doing IT consulting is still more than Seattle's minimum wage. plus i dont report that shit to the IRS.....all profit,.....tax free.....lol
and as soon as i get my CCNA, my pay will go from 35 to 50/hr. im eager to see where seattle's economy will be in a few years.

I came in this thread to say this. Seattle is 8% black this law helps whites. This what never happen in a place like Atlanta . That what help too many poor blacks and we could never do that.

Seattle was an expensive State before the passive of the minimum wage. These sort of decisions are often made with respect to WHAT has been
1. the economic trends over a number of years
2. economic projections/forecast

The passive of this bill will also provide further stability by bringing those at the very bottom of the economy pole up to where they need to be with respect to that State current economy

Furthermore, I think that a nationwide minimum wage is dumb because the economy varies so much from region to region. I wouldn't expect the minimum wage in Albany, NY to be the same as the minimum wage in Albany, GA.
