Official 2014 NBA Playoffs thread

What? Playing defense?

Because he damn sure doesn't rebound, despite having garbage ass Perkins in there.

With his athleticism he should be getting 12 boards a game.

With better coaching he would

Look what Doc Rivers did for Jordan

Dude never even averaged double digit rebounds and this season he leads the NBA

His defensive presence for that team speaks for itself though

Ayo how can the league justify Okc taking 31 free throws compared to 16? The refs are always the equalizer, I hate it.

Again if Serge didn't sign that extension Sam would have trade him.

By your logic why would he trade a player that in Ur opinion no one was going to out bid him for

Because Sam knew Ibaka makes to free agency he was getting 50 plus million. Which would have been out of their range again Ibaka settled.

Their was a plan laid out. KD took less, Westbrook took less and Ibaka did too

Again it might be rosy to believe that Serge took that out of some sense of loyalty......Serge took it because he is a sucker

Because if the Thunder ever think they can get a 15 pt 10 plus rebound guy see how fast they would ship Serge out

OKC took 23 free throws in the third....Spurs took 0

Despite that ridiculous fact the Thunder generally played better than the Spurs I thought.

Russ calmed down and they were more active covering the perimeter

the thunder actually got 4 more fouls called against them than the spurs did...

spurs jumpers were broke. they were getting their shit swatted and they got outrebounded 52-36

that's why they lost this game.

the spurs were shooting jumpers in that quarter, majority of their shots were jumpers while the thunders action was going to the rim. i don't even recall a durant sweep through bs foul being called.

What about KD and Westbrook are they suckers..

As cap specialist Larry Coon pointed out Westbrook took a huge paycut he qualified for the supermax. He took 75 million when the super max pays you from 90-95 million

Three players all taking pay cuts on a team that wants to avoid the luxury tax isn't a coincidence

2006 finals still stings huh?

It does cuz we don't get there often, but you know as a fan of the NBA there have been other instances where the refs had too much of an impact on the outcome of the games

I know people who don't even follow the NBA like that between that aspect and the fact it's too top heavy and superstar driven

Don't have to worry about that shit in the NFL and that's why it's king

Naw, the NFL be on the bullshit too.
All the time , we talk about how some teams are allowed to be physical (grab and hold, set illegal picks) while other teams can't do the same shit.

Its just not as bad as the NBA. The NBA officiating is comedy.

You are right there are little things some teams get away with in the NFL but it's nowhere near as bad as shit gets in the NBA

Serge Ibaka's massive Game 3 impact in 4 charts

1. It got a bit tougher to score in the paint for San Antonio

2. The Spurs aren't hitting 63% of their contested attempts any more

3. Tony Parker did not have a good night

4. Oklahoma City hit the offensive glass

The NBA is a embarrisment having us watch this super Olympic alpha team these past years when nobody can match up to them.

They prolly made OKC trade harden so they can't naturally become they own big 3
