The Thunder without ref help and a thousand free throws a game are a very mediocre team.

I know you not talking about refs helping anyone BC you know damn well without the refs helping Lebron he's another Westbrook. No post moves no jumpers just hope U can drive hole and if you can't start looking at the refs for some help.

I'm not even going to address this dumb shit

This dude be trolling HARD... Y'all be falling for it tho.

I am here dying

Nobody can be this clueless man lmao

And whats worse is that he is here ready to throw Westbrook under the bus....like Westbrook aint come to OKC rescue several times this postseason already

And he here saying LBJ gets a favorable whistle compared to KD.

And you know why its still even funnier....there is no reason for a Durant groupie like him to get tight because OKC is going back home and will probably get hometown calls like mad just like they got against the clippers

yep scott brooks gotta go. this isnt no westbrook or durant fault. true ibaka out ,still think the spurs would win this series. ibaka go out the whole team look lost.....nah.they lost cause brooks is lost. nobody buying in on defense. all this fall on the coach. their offense has been just give the ball to durant or westbrook for too long now. they really need to sign a real three point threat to open the offense up.

Something I notice. Teams like the Magic,Hawks and OKC have all hired GMs and Coaches that have ties to Spurs in hope in recreating the same thing.

The year that the Thunder defeated the Spurs and made it to the Finals they dismantle that team by doing something that Sam Presiti learned from his mentor RC Buford (Spurs GM)

OKC despite injuries have remained competitive. I know if or likely when OKC lose in this series that many will start the "Will Kevin Durant leave?" and as I said before Kevin will not make it to free agency. Sam Presiti will do this. He will do what he always do. Offer and extensions (which he will believe is fair and go from there) Now I do believe the Thunder have no problem maxing out Durant but knowing Sam's history the only way he allows Durant to enter free agency will be if they won the title or made it back to the finals the following year.

Also another thing to consider. The Spurs players took pay cuts after winning chips to keep a championship team together. The Thunder three (Durant Westbrook and especially Ibaka) all took pay cuts because they tried to keep their roster along with Harden together.

Question is will they do it again? Westbrook qualified for the supermax and settled for 75 million instead of 90 plus million, Ibaka could have easily got 60 plus million on the open market and settle for 48 million.

Will they do this again if come negotiations time they're team is still ring less and no closer to winning a ring

They win despite their coach not because of him. Brooks is a below average coach with a good team. Same as Coach Spo.

Them niggas should not take less again

Fuck all that there

Millionaires helping billionaires save money :smh:

Harden wasn't down and I don't blame him

They should have given him the max they could fuck a luxury tax and fuck the small market excuse

You chose to move to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

You chose not to amnesty Kendrick Perkins cuz you were too cheap to pay someone who wasn't on your team even though it doesn't count against the cap

You didn't even keep Kevin Martin who's scoring would come on handy right about now

You kept Scott Brooks

Killa I know you don't follow the NFL but the Spurs = The Patriots

In so many ways it's crazy

Like you said teams tried to copy what they do but come up short

Thunder could have Harden and Ibaka right now and they'd still get murdered. When the Spurs play like this and they getting contributions from not even their best 4 players but they getting shit from dudes like Patty Mills and Danny Green? Series over. Danny Green putting up 20+ a game against them and only takes like 10 shots. Thunder just not ready yet.

I don't buy that

Don't give them that cop out

And if they ain't ready yet they ain't never going to be ready

That's what a lot of GMs see happening. There are already rumblings that Westbrook after his injury isn't going take another paycut. Honestly the Harden deal didn't work for them. Martin is gone. Lamb hasn't become the player they expected. If anyone who should be upset it's Ibaka he took the biggest paycut.

Here is the funny thing it's time for Reggie Jackson to get paid this fall. What's going to happen there??

Will Sam do the same thing his mentor did when it was time to pay George Hill? Trade him to a team for a high first round pick?

Many teams are rooting for the Thunder to win a chip especially against Miami since they were basically put together completely opposite. thing is if the Thunder disband more people will look at what the Spurs did as an anomaly.

You draft a player like Timmy in small market with other players like him.

I mean hell Leonard fits in like a glove with this team.

I know Danny Green knows he is getting paid next go around

Famo I'm Tryna imagine if pooh was on the spurs

Nigga if he qualify for that supermax Derrick rose rule

He not Finna settle for no 60 million

Fuck outta

Give me everything

Westbrook needs to be in NYC

They will pay him whatever he wants

Put KD in boston

Teams can't copy the spurs model cuz they don't have Tim Duncan, Pop, nor Burford

Pay your players when it's time to pay

Or pay the price for not doing so

Look at the Mavs 8th seed, 9th seed, 8th seed for all of a sudden getting cheap

Don't like it shouldn't have agreed to this CBA

And I'd trade the shit out if Reggie Jackson if he can be had for a high first

I'm not throwing Westbrook under the bus okc record speaks for itself since he came back. I said after that 1st game back he came out throwing crazy shots up that okc has no chance to win with him. Then you say they have Bern winning because of Westbrook but I think Durant has to change his whole game around and basically play like a role player for him. Okc has no scorers on that team besides Durant and Westbrook now if Westbrook is not scoring in the paint okc only has 1 scorer that is drawing attention and passing the ball to wide open teammates that can't hit a jumper why is that so hard to understand? If any player can bring their team back down 2 games it's Durant but he has to say give me the ball and get the fuck out of the way like he was doing before Westbrook came back but we all know that's not gonna happen. Plus y'all don't seem to understand ibaka became durant's safety net when he drove whole him and ibaka developed chemistry together and now he don't have a safety
net at all

The Spurs cant be copied because their big guys are all yokels that took less money than they were worth while driving up the success and worth of that franchise

The Thunder not being ready excuse doesnt fly because their core has been together long enough now. Seriously they came up the ranks with one another.

The Ibaka loss has been impactful no doubt. I wont deny that but this is the third straight series this playoffs alone that we have been left scratching our heads.

And if Reggie Jackson is next up to get paid or they gonna let him walk too or will he be a yokel and not get paid either...

They haven't been healthy in the playoffs for 2 years, it only has a chance of working if everyone is healthy.

It hasn't been nagging injury unhealthy, it's been the 3rd person is out for the entire rest of the playoffs unhealthy, that's HUGE.

and then you couple that with a coach who has NO CLUE what to do? They're ready, they just don't have a coach that can put them in the right position to win.

How easy is it to play defense when 3 of the 5 starters can't throw the ball in from point blank range....

and 2 of those starters don't make a difference on either end... as crazy as this sounds, perkins has been doing his thing.

collison and seffalosa have been horrible.

but there's just a laundry list of reasons why things are going the way they are, especially considering they don't have a coach that is competent... like ive seen some bad coaching but look at brooks on the sideline he looks like "i don't know what to do"

if the spurs get blown out or clippers or something like that those coaches look like "i can't believe these sorry asses are playing like this they know better"

not brooks.

he's like

shit what do i do?

Westbrook is just the easy excuse.

he ain't stealing no shots from k.d. never has and never will.

k.d. gets passive on his own.

and westbrook ain't give up 110 points in the paint in 2 games.

the coach is the problem. the one who doesn't understand how to play big or understand how to play lineups that make sense.

I just think the Thunder are ass. Their offense is based on isolations. Not only that but their defense looks terrible and Harden can't fix that. And Thunder will be ready once The Spurs fadeaway. No team in the West seems to be a juggernaut in the near future.

The Spurs aren't easily replicated because most teams don't have a franchise big man like Duncan who stayed put. They don't have a HOF coach like Pops who knows Xs & Os as well as how to motivate and manage his players (look what he did with Parker over the years), and don't have a front office that knows how to scout small colleges and international players like RC.

Besides Manu, Duncan, Leonard, and Parker, most of their team is cast-offs. Belini, Green, Diaw, Etc. They have a system and they work it to their strengths.

I hope westbrook goes first, i hope he goes to a team with a good proven coach with an actual offensive identity.

coaching is the entire difference.
Are you related to Westbrook? You go way above and beyond when it comes to defending dude. Great player, but dude has warts and you just ignore them and obfuscate his issues.

Admit that Westbrook shoulders his fare share of the blame for the team's failures with is inability to evolve as a player.

thunder managed to simultaneously give up lots of paint points and easy three point looks....

that takes some doing....

but they are going home to Oklahoma and dont be surprised if they tie up the series there.
