that's like saying a laker has a good nba crossover

but that shit won't cut it at the rucker

The kid actually has "talent". Obviously it's overhyped because of his complexion but he has talent. He's not completely studio made like Justin Timberlake for instance. Man. I heard that cat singing that Holy Grail hook like and it sounded like somebody was beating the shit out of a cat.

Bieber is very talented. The problem is that most of his vocals are needlessly autotuned and burdened with too many effects. Stylistically he's stuck somewhere in between Disney pop and Sage the Gemini remixes. He also follows the annoying trend of instrumentalists that don't play instruments.

He's young so he still has time to find his voice. With the right direction he might even make a groundbreakng classic. Time will tell

- not sure i follow this exactly

beiber can sing

but if you put him on stage with just a mic and a piano, he's not gonna get a standing ovation at the apollo

Homie, most 'black church singers' can't see Smokie. That was a poor example.

Just has talent, but he is overrated like 99% of all pop stars.

Timberlake has a very whiny voice.

He is one of those marginally talented vocalists, whose parents probably paid major bucks for vocal training so he could sound half-decent.

lol looks like it might be me n you against the wolves finger

:lol:I don't care about that stuff my G. That song just caught me off guard. I looking for more song from him, similar to the video that I posted, but couldn't find one. I guess a black person wrote that song because it had too much soul and not enough pop. I'm going to stick to Donell jones, Rome, tony toni tone, case...etc:cool:

I used the BEST example.

that's what you're suppose to do when trying to prove a point. :hmm:

beiber can't sing a fucking lick, he's a good "corporate" singer in that you can create a marketable studio hit around his voice, which is something you can do around millions of people but they might be too fat, have drinking problems, shy, etc etc...

plus he's singing through some sort of pitch changer/auto-tune program like all singers do now.

Justin wasn't even singing in that song, you could literally speak the lyrics and Pro Tools can make you sound like him in that song.

T Pain made a career doing that.

- it's crazy how people in their 20's and 30's literally FORGET that they grew up on real talent...

just because something is young, new, and making a lot of money doesn't mean it's good. :smh:

 I be saying that SAME SHIT! If I wanted to listen to a MFer rap I'd play some hip hop. I blame R. Kelly for that bullshit. He popularized it. "All that matters" by Beiber is one of my favorite RnB songs of 2014.

If you wanna see a new school white cat that can blow...Youtube "Somo - Pony" or "Somo - Ride". Dude just got signed by singing nothing but renditions of popular artist. Ride is his actual first single.

exactly

bieber makin a million dollars a week

and apollo is literally amateur night

not to say that the singers aren't often phenomenal

but any one of them bitches would give up their apollo experience to be that 'good studio voice'.

lil muhfucka worth more than smokey fucking robinson :smh: who coincidentally will be at the apollo netx month

:eek::eek: the voice and the lyrics.

"Now we are on top of the world, 'cause that's just how we do
Used to tell me, "Sky's the limit", now the sky's our point of view" Wow...

On some real shit....Journals had some cold ass bangers on it. I don't think much of him as a singer or performer though but that album had a few bangers on it. I don't know if all his albums be hitting like that because his singles usually be trash to me. But his last album was on some r&b shit.

this song came on Pandora and I was like damn...aint heard a r&b jam bumpin like this in a minute...who is this? Justin fuckin Bieber. I was like  but I remember seeing some videos of him when he was like a toddler singin and playin a guitar. I won't say he aint talented...just over hyped. And real talk...a lot of cats can blow in church that I wouldn't want to hear on a album or on the radio. Recording is an art form...certain voices work for it...others not so much.

Yeah he had some smooth shit on there. Probably would've been even doper if the songs had went to a stronger singer like Tank or something, but I wasn't mad at it.
