WE as a whole, community, better yet failed community in the USA< the ONLY failed community in the USA BTW if we really talking about it yet been here the longest and still can't navigate the system although we have intimate understanding of it. Instead like I'll keep saying, we only care about pretending, keeping it real, kicking the lingo and just being as BASIC BLACK as we can be.

Sadly it don't matter to the SYSTEM how you look at it, the system looks at us all the same regardless of our personal prejudices. Also we again are the only people doing that to our detriment and community and of course not the slightest concern for our youth and future gen in this country, only us. I was loving DC when they came out. Then the 2nd album and I was jamin'. But that incident made me not like Knowles on sheer principle of how it was played out, and Kelly Rowland always seemed like a puppet to me after that.
After they broke up Beyonce and being solo...seems just so...forced...I can't take it. She got a cut here or there I like - Crazy in Love still make me want to do the dance from the video. But overall I don't get the infatuation. And I got coworkers who give me 'the eye' when I talk about how chick ain't the greatest. I don't get Bey and Jay but the hustle is strong. Whatever. I can't knock the work ethic but I'm not about to sit here and worship the sheep or their wannabe god.
Someone just find out Solange's "why" and keep the memes coming. And for the haters, ain't no one looking for no one's downfall, I just want a creative laugh.

Back in the day banks didn't to give us loans, so we started our own and borrowed from our own, and guess what they came to find us to give us loans. Yessir! Concord Baptist Church in Brookyn had it's own credit union bank INSIDE the church when I was in choir
back in mid 80s and they helped many in Bed Stuy. Flipside though is the fucking Reverend's birthday was treated as if he was Jesus himself, man already living tax free and they buying him a new car every damn year. MY young peoples choir alone "gifted" him 5 thousand dollars BACK IN 80s!!!! The other three adult choirs each gave him way more, like it was a contest to see who could do what each year, the senior choir simply told him during service to pick out whatever car he wanted and they would pay for it. This man lived on the JEWISH side of Eastern Parkway in a beautiful house and was a lecherous fuck!You think this man EVER TURNED shit down or put it into the community, hell no! That's when I knew it was nice little experience but time to be up out of here cause we have so many parasites among us it's sickening.

No other immigrant group is subject to that.

Until African Americans focus on the "African" part, re-discover their history, connect with the past beyond the slave trade, it's going to be a much heavier weight to carry.
A lot of us suffer from PTSD, depression, anxiety etc....
Generational poverty is a grind and it leads to short life spans that re-boot the effort from scratch a lot of times.
There is a lot of things hidden but we are definitely surviving under the boot.
