No it's not KD's game but at this point what OKC is doing with him is not working. A pick & roll or back door screen is so simple but let so effective. All that iso bull shit ain't working when you're rely on jumpers. OKC has to attack & wear them down.

he's not a ball dominating point guard. he doesn't have to have it in his hands at all times. this is how he is COACHED to be.

how is it when he's on the thunder he plays how brooks wants him to. when he's on team usa he plays COMPLETELY DIFFERENT.

he can do what it asked. for years we shat on him thinking he was fucking everything up... he was not. he was doing exactly what the coach told him to do.

if brooks changed his philosophy and said we're running pick and rolls and we're doing back cuts westbrook would THRIVE he would score the same and get more assists and everything.

he had a triple double tonight off of pure WILL

he ain't a problem not in any way shape or form. the thunder do need him. if there was a right coach a lot of people would change their tunes about him completely.

he is the total package being wasted on an inept piece of shit who does no coaching or guiding.

With the right talent LeBron will do anything it takes to win, if its a steal, in crunch time, he will get it, a big rebound, he grabs it, a big three pointer, he makes it, getting hot at crunch time, he does it, the perfect pass, he makes it.. KD is more passive and if your team does something wrong he is going to kill you, leave him free because your defense dosen't set up, he is going to nail that jumper, give him a crease he is going to drive, trap him too hard, he will pass out of it.. But KD is less proactive and often relies on mistakes by the opponents rather than being able to take it to the defense and take over the game by himself, at will.

When Kobe is D'd up he sees it as a challenge. He doesn't pass the ball. That's why he said Westbrook has Mamba blood in him.

Dudes are comparing a 16 and 17 year in the league Kobe to Durant. He wasn't as much as a jump shooter when he was younger.

When did anyone ever see Kobe disappear at the end of games and not touch the ball for minutes?

Team USA? You don't think a person on team USA checked him? Not everyone will put up with that shit. And that's exactly why I said Durant needs a coach to advocate for him.

Poor coaching. Lack of Durant asserting himself. Take your pick. I blame the coaching and/or Durant. Westbrook is just Westbrook.

Why even keep Perkins when you don't have any half court sets... Perkins is strictly a slow down half court hustler type of a player.. What good is he when your running down shooting three pointers with 17 secs left on the shot clock..

That muthafucka doesn't rebound that well, because he can't jump and his defense is that he takes up space and roughs up players.

I never understood why they couldn't get a five in the draft or free agency.

You're four on five on offense, and he doesn't draw his defender out the lane. He just clogs it up.

It seems like they felt committed to him after trading Jeff Green.

its not about checking.
that is one of their narratives family. he don't need to be checked. he needs a damn coach.

there's nothing to put up with. if durant demands the ball he gets it simple as that.

if the team is down 20 points and everybody looking like they accepting the shit he ain't gonna accept it. give me that every day of the weak.

he plays 100% at all times and is getting a bad wrap because of it.

like i said there hasn't been a point where durant has demanded the ball and westbrook hasn't given it to him in the past 3 seasons.

those things that applied to him before do not apply now...

if he shoots they automatically go to "he wants to be the hero"

ive seen reggie jackson straight IGNORE durant wide open and shoot some crazy ass push floater. and that's just ok with THE COACH. durant will say something to him but if the coach is allowing it it don't matter what the player says.

You put Perkins on a team like the Nets or the Bulls and you would get much more production from him.. I wouldn't mind seeing him come over to the Heat, just for rebounds and toughness.

they got him because the lakers had gasol and bynum. that was his sole purpose for being on the team

perkins is bad because he's bad. he's slow. can't move can't rebound can barely gather the ball and score. you would be calling for him to be amnestied if he was on the heat. you guys would go down 3 or 4 times before he even trotted his big ass down the court once.

He can rebound, the problem is look at the shots OKC takes, 33 three points today, how you going to rebound in the paint when the ball is flying all over the place..

and his slowness is just not a good thing for EITHER team

the heat big men get up and down the court. you guys are not trying to walk it up as a habit only in certain spots and never in long spurts.

OKC is Westbrook's team(mentally). Period. It should be Durant's team. Brooks is gone after this season. If they don't lose here, they will lose. If this were 10 years ago, this would be the perfect Phil Jackson project. I don't know who will coach this situation correctly. Perhaps Westbook is too dominant a personality when compared to Durant(both on and off the court).

For years people talked about Lebron's missing mean streak. Where is Durant's????????
