Game Of Thrones: The Sopranos with swords or Dynasty in chainmail?

I think his mother poisoned him herself or had it done. Shorty couldn't deal with losng that power of being the queen !!!

No way in hell Cersei kills Joffrey.

Shes going to lose that power anyway even when the next King gets married.

And with their house still technically at war there is now way she'd create that chaos and vulnerability to her own family.

I think is obvious who did it

Thats what we've been discussing.

Its obviously either the pie or wine and which one has different implications as to whose behind it.

pie did it, there wasn't enough exchange time to do anything to the wine or the cup or anything of the sort. he started choking before he got the wine he was trying to wash down the choking feeling.

but those times were full of shit.. she say he killed the king they seize him smfh

I'm leaning towards it being the pie also but there was plenty of time to poison the cup.

Remember his wife taking the cup from him and putting it on the table behind her.

Lady Ollena and Margery both had ample opportunity, more than anyone else, to put something into that cup to poison Joffrey.

Maybe she knew the pie was the proper distraction, or because as you say she knew the pie was poisoned.

But either way it would then be House Tyrell who murdered Joffrey.

i still think the guy that scooped up sansa knew what time it was with everything. he just happened to rush to her side while everyone else is bewildered?

aww man!!..that was a great episode!!..:yes:..finally, that bitch Joffrey got what he deserved..:yes::dance::dance:..fuck Joffrey!!..

fucking damn good show!!...can't wait for next week!!..:yes:

Joffrey's was the biggest little shit on current television and I've been looking forward to seeing him pay his debts, as Lannisters always do, but that was rather unsatisfying. I'm going to miss him and the amazing acting done by Jack Gleeson. A large part of my viewing pleasure came from the anticipation of Joffrey being dealt with in a hopefully long, drawn out and painful manner. Yet it's already been taken care of in the second episode of the season and now I don't know what to channel my vengeful emotions into!

Meanwhile, I actually love Cersei's delightful brand of awfulness and was cracking up at every other line she delivered tonight. Even felt kind of bad for her (and Jaime) at the end there. Despite who he was, in that moment they were parents watching their son die in their arms while they were completely helpless.

Peace,

I'm actually going to miss Joffrey. That sadistic little mf always had me cracking the fuck up. Great douche bag portrayal by the actor.

I think I'm rolling with BenQs post

Prince oberyn went in on cersei and tywin for saying his woman was a bastard

Had to be a poisoned cup of wine. Didn't others eat pie? Wouldn't others have been poisoned for eating the pie as well?

Didn't the Queen get a bottle of poison from her maester. In season 2 before Stanley tried to storm Kings landing? I remember the maester was trying to explain to her how many drops to put in and she spun off on him. They say poison is a tool of women and eunuchs.

Sent from parts unknown

She did and she was going to kill herself and Jofreys younger brother with it just as Tywin came in and pronounced they one. Then she dropped it and it broke.

I putting my money on Cersei. She knew that she couldn't control Joffrey anymore and as soon as the marriage to Margaery was consummated, she would lose her last little bit of power. As much as she loves her children, I think she loves being in charge more. With this move, she takes Joffrey and the Tyrells out of the picture. Get Tommen on the throne. A pre-teen who was never raised to be king and that she can easily control. And gets to pin the whole thing of Tyrion. She comes out of this thing winning at every angle. Too convenient for her to not even be a suspect.

Nah, as much as of a brat joffrey was, she still respected and loved him. She loves all of her children as she explained to ned in season 1. Besides, killing joff would not get rid of the tyrells because don't forget that these marriages are politically strategic in nature and tywin still needs the tyrells and will not let them out of his grasp so easily. The marriage was never consummated, so margerie is "untainted" and ready to go for the successor, who happens to be Tomlin.
