A new pair of reports suggests that the super rich are richer than we thought.

The first report by Professors Emmanuel Saez (UC Berkeley) and Gabriel Zucman (LSE and UC Berkeley) addresses the question of how to measure total wealth, finding that there is an increasing concentration in the top one-thousandth.

So where is all this wealth going? The second report, by Zucman, demonstrates that a lot of the money is held in offshore tax havens -- far more than previously known. New York Times columnist Paul Krugman summed up the numbers Friday, arguing that they tell us "something important about how the world really works."

"At the commanding heights of the US economy, hiding a lot of one’s wealth offshore is probably the norm, not the exception," Krugman wrote.

I think you're on to something actually. On par African Americans that is. Ole droopy shwaggy pant ain't about knowing shit. Neither is te avg AA stuck on just being black. But there's much much more.

I think because of our street savvy or those that truly possess it, have the conscious to be open to hearing the pulse of the world…… on some level. But you'd have to be bigger than just about being black to truly feel it with a broad validity. An undeniable validation, actually. Only those that challenge themselves through and beyond their own but to transgress throughout a broader, more cellular connection to people an. How we touch one another. Of course couple with some business savvy and you'll have people that could manage ear to the ground change an employ trends on a level that only someone merged with both would truly get.

Dude, no socio-economic class has a monopoly on moral destitution, mental illness, depression, etc.

What you're doing is NO DIFFERENT than what my family members did when my aunt, who inherited her sisters entire estate, became ill.

My family members were mad as hell, because they thought they were going to inherit my aunt's estate.

Well, about a year after she inherited the estate, she fell very ill.

My family chalked it up to her suffering because she wasn't supposed to keep that entire estate to herself. She was SUPPOSED to split it up evenly.

Never mind the fact that all of the ones saying that are over weight, on blood pressure medication and insulin - and will ultimately suffer the same fate for living the same unhealthy lifestyle.

She was that way because they envied what she had, and since they couldn't have it, they felt vindicated by believing she was on her death bed for keeping money they felt entitled to.

People are so full of shit.
