Eagles wanted at least a 3rd round pick! Initially, the 9ers and the Patriots were willing and later pulled their offers off the table. I do believe it from that angle because, if a team is willing to give you ANYTHING and you want a player gone, don't you take what they are offering, instead of eating 6 mil?

The thing was, after the offers were made, Kelly didn't know whether or not he wanted to pull the trigger, met with Jackson this week (which was why Desean gave the interview he did), then reversed field and cut him for nothing. That was a dumb ass move, even if I get a 5th, I get SOMETHING for him...

I'm willing to bet that him and Kelly got into it over his contract situation. And now they're using this is a means to justify getting him off the team. Kelly is trying to create a regime there. It's not a coincidence that an article just came out last week saying that Kelly was moving aggressively behind the scenes to consolidate power. Jackson could be someone that undermines that.

Hernandez was a straight up goon. Desean has never been directly connected to doing anything. He might know some people but he's never been in any trouble. Plus, from what I've read, there isn't anything new in regards to information. The latest incident was in 2012 and there hasn't been anything significant since. Desean, according to the police, was cooperative with any questioning and wasn't implicated in anything himself.
