Wow. A skirt.
That said, he got a lot of publicity for his new show.
And Wayan sound like a fool. I'd rather put on a flannel and some wranglers like Brett Favre than follow these flaming fools and the 'need' to change(following these gay white fashion designers). Change ain't always good. Skirts. Leggings. Just watching that shit makes me want to not shave for a week, drink beer, and go camping and kill a wild animal with my bare hands.

trips me out how famous black folks just talk however on twitter
I asked this months back, I want to know what it is exactly a dude walks into a store and asks for? Is this a man skirt? WTF is it called. I really wish I was in a store and could overhear a guy walking up to a sales rep and ask for one of these.
Secondly. I am not one for confrontation or want to start no shit, cause I am biased because I was born and bread on Brooklyn/NY rap/hiphop so to me, calling Brand Nubians and KRS-One non-relevant is beyond crazy to me. So I was a little taken back. But whatever to each his own.
But because I am always learning. I googled hiphop in Detroit from the 80's to 90's and only found Esham and Insane Clown Posse. I never heard of Esham before and read his style was psychedelic hip hop. Then there's ICP and well, there they are. Eminem, who I hold high up on my list of greats also started in the 90's. And Proof was late 90's.
So I just wanted to know what rappers were making music in the 90's, cause I don't know if I heard of them on my stations like Kiss-FM and WBLS in NY way back then. Or the era of Yo MTV Raps.
Just trying to find out what rappers made lasting impressions to hip hop as in putting something in history that was being listened to that are classics to date? Really am curious.
You didn't miss anything with esham.
And people I was messing with during lj time which I'm saying was 90-93 was:
Cube with that most wanted and death certificate, tribe called quest w the midnight and t he low end, the chronic, 36 chambers, doggystyle, Pete rock, rakim, nwa, dj quik just a handful of them
Aaron McGruder called it:

Heiro = Heiroglyphics Crew
The Liks = The Alkoholiks
You never heard of these guys ?
The liks yea. The other group I heard the name but I can't name nothing off the top of my head
It shouldn't look CLOSE to a skirt. It shouldn't have the appearance of a skirt it shouldn't be compared to a skirt it shouldn't be on the borderline with being a skirt
how about that?
There's some CO INTEL PRO agent in a black van somewhere logged onto bgol with the prime directive to discount Lord Jamar's opinion. No way a straight Black man is in anyway validating skirt/legging wearing. The End really is Near
Agree wholeheartedly. There's some CO INTEL PRO agent in a black van somewhere logged onto bgol with the prime directive to discount Lord Jamar's opinion. No way a straight Black man is in anyway validating skirt/legging wearing. The End really is Near
My problem is that folks are trying to derail the thread from the point....
Men are not supposed to be wearing skirts or anything skirt like in this society and culture...
The very fact that anyone is even addressing folks talking shit on Brand Nubian is ridiculous.....myself included.....

There wasn't a discernible weak link in the group because all of those niggas were equally weak...
Y'all over-rate the fuck out of some of these old school rappers simply because they were out back then...
Heiroglyphics Crew = Souls of Mischief (Phesto, A-Plus, Opio, and Tajai) + Del the Funky Homosapien + Casual + Pep Love + producer/manager Domino + DJ Toure.
They from Oakland, CA. (started in the early 1990s)
HIP HOP LEGENDS.
They have influenced tons of West Coast emcees over the years.
Where you been at, homie? lol
I just posted Heiro's MOST POPULAR track.... EVER... 93 'til Infinity.
You never heard that track??
Sheeeiiit..... even Big Krit, Curren$y, Tyga, J. Cole and Rick Ross have sampled it.
Here is some more Heiro shit.
Maybe you heard some of these tracks, but just never knew their name.
OR maybe not.
Jamar is right.
Marlon, and especially Sean do hella fruity shit.
Style or not. Omar Epps had on a Skirt and Leggings?.
The 85% has Niggas Dumb, Deaf, and Blind.
