People can be who they wanna be for all I care, his sexual orientation has no bearing on my life. But as a str8 man, I would not be comfortable with a gay man in the locker room, especially when you gotta shower together in close quarters.
I get that BGOL has it's residents proponnents for gay rights which is a reflection of the ever changing society we live in, but common now lets be realistic. It's literally impossible for that not to be an issue or for that not to cross your mind in the change room. If u say other wise, u'r str8 lying to u'r self
If I were his teammate I would wait until he changes/showers first or vice versa. But again it's impossible for him being gay to not be an issue or even a thought while your in the change room with him. And that aint being homophobic either, that feeling is really a natural instinctive reaction from str8 male.

Say what you want about his numbers but the dude actually plays hard & always has his entire career which can't be said about A LOT of players in the NBA. Guys who play hard (Matt Barnes,Chris Anderson,etc...) stay in the league even when their numbers diminish.

NBA didnt want to be criticized as having the first athlete to announce but didnt even have him play...this was marketing 101 as well as getting a quick historical nod
