{~~~Guns, Guns and Mo' Guns - The Right To Keep And Bear Arms~~~}

honestly.......i really want to get a hunting rifle....bolt action...
either a .223 or a .308 (preferably Remington)

the 6.5 grendal is a BEAST (very flat round, it catch air.)
the 6.5 Creedmor would knock anything within 1200 meters in the dirt, but it is an expensive round.

please don't forget the 700 has been LOE standard. Good luck hunting for your toy

I wished everyone could have some CQB training, the United States would be a friendlier place.

please join a 3 gun team, I was the only Black at a 3 gun event (Tuson, AZ). The so call SWAT team was embarrassed. Then my fellow team member told then I was retired military and a avid gun advocate, they felt relieved. lol

u ever been to the one in Ft.Worth?? they do the CQB training there i think. them boys be serious bout that shit......lol

to be honest, we kinda laugh at the airsoft guys, because most of them are MW3 players that want to play. We are mostly security or ex security personnel that want to display or learn more techniques.
plus, we shoot real bullets! lol

I like the 3-gun because it is timed engagements at different distances.

it is hard to engage a target without the stock (in an CQB environment) but now everyone trying to get around the ATF regs. The "arm brace" for the AR type of pistol is the new fad.

Why is it hard to engage a target without stock?
What ATF regs?

In short it allows you to add a stock to a firearm with a barrel less than 16 inches. SBR= Short Barrel Rifle

In a nutshell you have to file forms with BATFE, pay a fee for permission ($200per), be issued proof you paid the tax and were approved to build or buy (Form 1 or 4). It's has now turned into quite the process, in terms of waiting time. When I first got into NFA, the wait was 60-90 days. In recent years, because of more folks getting into NFA. the wait has jumped to excess of 11 months.....

I like carbines or real short rifles WITHOUT stocks.

My paratrooper got a ATI folding stock (from previous owner, I had to buy a wood stock separate and its the only part that numbers don't match ), and the AK is an underfolder.

I want a AK pistol, M92 PAP. They're $400 now

thank goodness for this thread, I should make a "youtube" showing the difference shooting with a stock and without a stock (AR type weapons). acquisition, engagement, and lead on target less than 1 second is the goal for any shooter (competition). With a but stock one can take out a group (less than 12-15) of unexpected targets less than 6-10 seconds. With a stockless weapon well, you better have some cover.

The devil has my ear today
I'll never hear a word you say
He promised I would find a little solace
And some piece of mind
Whatever just as long as I don't feel so

I'm going to get my brother and a few of my boys to get into this. We definitely need more of us out there.

I love HK but I don't have one. I am going to start recycling some weapons for optics (m11 type, G21 w/ mags, FN SPR w/leo pr tact, FN tact shotty, and maybe ps90. I want 2 USO glasses (1 1x8 and 1 something for long range)

Lemme know what you want for that FN Shotgun.

How do you like that 590a1?

I was thinking about getting that or the Remington 870 or the Mossberg 500

I highly recommend getting the 590a1 it shoots great and it's accurate as hell! It's the only Shotgun that passed the army torture test. I got the 18.5 barrel for home defense I am going to buy another one eventually.

I'll be hitting the Gun show here in Richmond this weekend. See if I can find a decent price Beretta Px4 Storm.

That barrel length is illegal in NJ.

Yeah that 14" barreled model is an SBS, title II firearm. Pretty much not legal in any of the states. That is without the required paperwork.

But honestly Benelli is over priced when you can get a Mossberg for way less and the same quality!

^I couldn't disagree more with this. I personally would not put Mossberg and Benelli in the same category. Mossberg is good, Benelli is that next level shit.

But how much is that deal worth?

I use GUNBROKERS as a references, the rounds goes for 36 bucks for a box, personally I wouldn't pay no more than $850 for the package. But that is just my opinion and I have a PS90 (know how hard to find ammo in a crunch).

:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol: plus :lol:

you can get a 16 inch plus Benelli is one of the best defense market EVER

Well let me ask you what does a Benelli do better than a Mossberg 590A1? Let me also remind both of you the 590A1 was the ONLY shotgun to pass the armies combat stress test!

Have you ever charged the M4, it is smooth as liquid poop. the tritium sights, adjustable stock, and the reliability of the M4. Just read the thread, how some Marines that stand the GATE and had to qualify with the M4, the testified with personal experience with the M4.

When I participate in 3 gun competitions, the order is Benelli, Wilson combat, 8 series, FHN, Russian, etc.

lol lets look at weapon knowledge, the toy collection cost more than some people annual income. The M4 is used by DoD, Marine, SOF, and other organizations. CHECK the thread I have a 930spx, so I can comment on Mossberg lack shootability.

I know I am a snob when it comes to climbers and weapons but, I do have over 3.5 decades in experience in it.

if you want to be cheap get a 8 series (nice weapons), why take chances with your life. High points are made for street people, Les Bears are made for real shooters.

Delta 8 out.

 I never shot an M4 but it appears to be the real deal. However all I'm saying is why pay $1600 when for $500 I can get the same reliability out of the 590A1? Bennelli appears to be a better gun on paper but I don't think the 590a1 would let me down it's been a proven weapon in combat.
