Anybody rockin' a coverted Saiga 12?

Been looking at the Saiga and the Benelli M4.

I have a Saiga, that I converted about 4 years ago. As I'm sure you have figured out by now, the Saiga and the M4 are like night and day. Sort of like a comparing a sledge hammer to a framing hammer. They are both hammers but, that's where the similarities end.

Just got my Kriss Vector SDP in, F1 to SBR out before one shot was fired.... Ordered up a Tavor 17 in FDE, should be about 2-3 weeks out......

the Tavor is still not in, but it is my fault (I want the FDE color, so it takes long to get it in). Now, I am researching optics, the US Optics 8c is turning me on (for the SCAR). I will post it when it comes in, might give a review.

btw, WE NEED MORE BLACKS for 3- gun competitions (I am tired of being the only dark face out there)

What's the deal w/ SBR'ing???

Why is it so desirable? What does it entail?

I'd leave that Kriss Vector just like it is and shoot the shit outta it

it is hard to engage a target without the stock (in an CQB environment) but now everyone trying to get around the ATF regs. The "arm brace" for the AR type of pistol is the new fad.

In short it allows you to add a stock to a firearm with a barrel less than 16 inches. SBR= Short Barrel Rifle

In a nutshell you have to file forms with BATFE, pay a fee for permission ($200per), be issued proof you paid the tax and were approved to build or buy (Form 1 or 4). It's has now turned into quite the process, in terms of waiting time. When I first got into NFA, the wait was 60-90 days. In recent years, because of more folks getting into NFA. the wait has jumped to excess of 11 months.....
