►►► UFC ON FOX - Johnson vs. Benavidez 2 - Sacramento, CA - Sat. Dec, 14th

I'm glad he got up. They had the camera's off the octagon for a few seconds, so I thought he was really hurt. It took big john some time to get there, so he got a few extra shots.

Mighty Mouse just shut lots of people mouths about not having KO power.

Mannnn I am so tired of hearing about this Weidman Dude talking all this crap. I hope Silva destroys this fool.

Urijah Faber is incredible in non title fight in The UFC!!!

Agreed - he isn't losing to anyone (as a non-champ) if they aren't already champ themselves. Never really let Michael McDonald get going in that one.

It makes me sad to say this, Weidman will win the rematch, Silva is old and he's just coming off a KO hence his chin is not what it used to be...

The only way that the belt is going back to Brazil is on the waist of either Belfort or Machida!!!

Silva clowning or not, he still KOed the p4p best at the time. You gotta give it to Weidman. He's obviously a legit threat. I didn't believe the Weidman hype but people simply don't KO Silva like that, he's earned the hype now.

Good to see a power stoppage from one of the little guys as all the haters are always complaining.

- Little guys are boring
- They never finish anyone
- They have no power
- Heavyweights are way more fun to watch
- I wanna see people getting KO'd and TKO'd

My take is ... get the fuck outta here. I wanna see exciting fights ... finish or not ... and the 125 - 155 cats pretty much always deliver. Sure, they might not be stopping fools in their tracks ... but they're technical and most of them have cardio for days (and get the occasional stoppages). We've gotta keep in mind the cats who are @ 125lbs are a full 140 POUNDS lighter than a maxed-out heavyweight at weigh-in time (the cats like Brock & Overeem in max form). Cats like JDS and Cain around the 235 - 245 mark are nearly twice as big as dudes like Mighty Mouse & Joe B'.

By swinging at someone not defending five times and just happening to connect?

I still don't believe the Hype. I wanna see him go a few rounds with Silva and see how he does.

So what? lol, and how many fighters you seen KO Silva at all???? He's done that shit countless times too and usually resulted in AS counter-punching his opponent. Weidman KOed him, period. It ain't like we never seen Silva do that before, granted he was over-the-top clowning before that but he still got KOed for the first time ever.

Respect him as a champion? Sure. Believe the hype? Fuck that. Show me more than that.

Chris was winning the round. Ain't like he didn't do anything before the KO. Silva just better take him seriously this time around and not be doing all that bullshit again while in a losing effort. I couldn't believe he was clowning like that while getting tagged, he NEVER does that if the opponent is actually connecting.

Not hard to win rounds when your opponent isn't doing anything. Silva was wayyyyy too over the top and paid the price. Just gotta wait and see how the next one goes to truly gauge Weidman. And if Weidman somehow wins, he has Mr. TRT to face next. He won't have that belt long with Machida lurking as Well.

Crazy thing is, I believe Machida and Belfort would annihilate Weidman. But I dunno about Silva. Hopefully he can reclaim the title, but Weidman has confidence on his side.

well mighty mouse vs Dodson the magician 2 in the near future

Yeah - that'll be a good match-up. Remarkable speed from both fighters, and Dodson went 25 mins with Johnson the first time, and dropped him a time or two in that match-up. He was supposed to be on this card facing Scott Jorgensen. He was a replacement for Ian McCall. Both those cats suffered injuries, so Makovsky stepped up and beat Jorgensen on short notice. Always been a fan of Makovsky's. He was legit in Bellator from 2010 - 2012, and then had a couple of fights on the smaller circuit in 2012/2013 before being called back up to the bigs.

Shit - I should have put some money down on this card. I picked Healy because of his experience in the game & durability. My bad. Green had too much speed for him. Picked Jorgensen over Makovsky for the same reason (more experience via his time in the UFC and WEC). Forgot that Makovsky is legit and did his thing in Bellator from 2010 - 2012, and has won straps in Bellator and the RFA in the past 3 years.

Right on, Ajax. We did well with our picks. Did you put any money down on yours?

Seems like Jorgensen messed us up vs. Makovsky. Had we picked ZM we would have gone 10 for 11 apiece √

Lol @ us both picking Johnson via decision. Who the fuck saw him KO'ing Benavidez in 2 minutes of round 1 ... with Fox having to cut away from the Octagon after the stoppage and go to commercial break? Shit ... 125lb cat came with it!
