{~~~Guns, Guns and Mo' Guns - The Right To Keep And Bear Arms~~~}

Picked up one of these today. Marling 39a Golden. '64 model. I'm finding myself getting into antique guns.

Olly,
That rifle shoots 22 shorts, 22 long, and 22 LR. Thinking about locating a lever action in 357. Be a good all around rifle that is hella cheap to shoot.

Does anyone on here reload their own ammo? I've been doing a lot of reading just haven't pulled the trigger on buying my supplies.

nice boomstick, I was thinking about getting a western styled 45/70 but the rounds are keeping me away

I do reload but only mid distance rounds (.338 lm, .416, and some boat tailed .308) to save on cost I use a rock chucker but I would love to get a dillion (they just cost so damn much)

I want to start with a Lee Hand Loader just to make some 30-06. Just as a hobby to occupy my time. Maybe load some 8MM Mauser which is hard to find where I live.

Lee make some great products look at gunbroker to get a hand loader (great prices)

I've been looking to roll my own ammo for a while. What round do you think would be ideal to start learning on? I've read .45 and 9mm are the best rounds for novice reloaders. Care to chime in with your thoughts/experiences?

pretty much all the same bro. brass, primer, powder, and bullete.

What's a "low cost ar15"?
How "low cost"?

Man, I went to the range last night and shot a few different hand tools and I really like the Springfield XDm 3.8. I shot it in .40 only cuz I brought a box of .40 bullets with me, but I might get a .45 in that same size.

Side note: I saw some cacs sweeping up bullet shells off the floor in the range (man & woman) and putting 'em in an old army backpack, and I catch em glance at me out the corner of their eye, both of em, like they ain't want me to see em. So I go ask the folks at the counter "Aye, they work here?" With a headnod in the cacs direction. Chick said, "No, why?". I asked, "Do folks usually sweep up shells in the range?" She nods and says, " Yeah, some people reload em. They make their own bullets".
Mind you, this was a 6 lane range & it was near closing time, the floor was covered, and this same couple was in there shooting a magpul tricked out AR that sounded a 7.62 :smh:

GUNS & BUTTER, BLACK MEN.....GUNS & BUTTER

The low costs is about 450 to 500. I'm trying to see If could be done.

FUCK a gun

OLLY NEED SOME FUCKING AMMO

fuck around I am going get a 50 CAL, 416 getting harder and harder to get reloading supplies

I wasn't planning on it but im building another ar15. PSA is having a sale on complete lowers with Magpul Moe kit for $200 I couldn't pass that up.

Are you just going with a .223/5.56 build or something else?

At first was going to go with just a regular 5.56 build but just came back from a gun shop and they had a good deal on 300 blackout uppers. Im really not sure now have to do some research

Y'all niggas want to chime in after I done came home....:hmm:

they are ok you ever thought building you own?????
No. I know to get what I want (a solid, mid to upper grade yaap), I might as well buy it already together because the cost can easily climb if I have to piece one together ( lower, bcg, sights, rails, etc).

Chick at the range showed me a bare-bone vs. 1 that was ~$200 more and pointed out all the stuff I would have to buy and it added up to more than the $200 difference.

Lower tier AR but for just range use it'll be ok. Most folks don't use an AR for its intended purpose so any will do.

I wanna be prepared just in case I have to be Will Smith in "I am Legend". I don't wanna be left holding my dick with a sub par weapon, besides..... I DO live in the American South!

I'm going back tomorrow, I like the Glock 30, xDm-45ACP compact 3.8 (I liked & was accurate shooting the xDm 40 compact 3.8!), and I'll probably get a AK.

What's a good AK?
I saw Zavasta vs. Century Arms?

I really liked a Century Arms AK47 I saw, black with a folding stock, it was a stack. A good buy?

This is some CAC on the exit ramp, guess where he was going???
He pulled in the gun show in front of me. :smh:

FUCK! CAN I GET SOME FEEDBACK?!

Zastava (i think this is the one u meant), is made by Century Arms.......its just a different model AK.....but i like that one better than the Century Arms GP WASR....
it has a lesser recoil.

I'm slick mad @ y'all niggas
The show over, I wanted some advice from the fam.

Yea, that's what I meant, I spelt it wrong. I saw a brand ass new one I liked and was finna pull the trigger on (pun). It was black with the fold under stock, adjustable sights, extra mag, & I had got the vender down to $800 + tax.

...then I ended up seeing that ^^^ and jumped on it. Paid less, got the yaap & a pistol w/ case, 2 mags & a mason jar full of bullets.
