This ending has been epic and has made me SO angry at shows like LOST who had even MORE time to end properly and completely shit the bed.

Thought the same thing man. They took a great show and completely fucked it up by being lazy.

Mad Men is not on Breaking Bad level. Every season of Breaking Bad has been good. The same cannot be said for Mad Men. Its a good series. Starts off slow, but picks up. Some good acting and funny moments. The past two seasons have not been great.

Skyler just didn't know when to shut the fuck up and just listen to Walt for once. She's just as guilty as Walt because she knew everything he's done and when it benefited her, (paying her fuck buddies tax bill) her morals didn't matter. Jessie is a pussy because he's been doing dirt with Walt from the beginning. They've been going the illegal way for five years and now he wants to involve the cops.

I agree with this. I'm on team Walt because he's 100 percent committed even if committed to the wrong thing. They're all corrupt but at least Walt has a purpose, plan, and the discipline to see it through. Plus, ironically, he's actually the most honest of them all. Skylar and Jesse are hypocrites....can't stand that type.

Mad Men is not on Breaking Bad level. Every season of Breaking Bad has been good. The same cannot be said for Mad Men. Its a good series. Starts off slow, but picks up. Some good acting and funny moments. The past two seasons have not been great.

I haven't seen The Shield either.

This is the one aspect i had a HUGE issue with this week. She had just went through a similar fiasco of acting without waiting for Walts confirmation or proof of some sort when she met with Hank at the diner. One would think that she would be leery of doing the same dumb shit again... ESPECIALLY considering its now with Hanks wife whom she and Walt just sent a fucking staged confession tape to framing him as the brains behind the entire organization.

in this show, everything walt touches turns to shit. some viewers have a morbid curiosity in the depths his "breaking bad" will go.

with regard to jesse pinkman, it doesn't matter that his character has been "breaking good".

If she goes to jail, his family would be completely torn apart... there is a big difference between your kids (with their mother) barely getting by and them being pretty much orphaned because one parent is serving life and the other twenty years. Remember we are talking about a baby. It's not even about Skylar.. it's about what's best for the baby. It's best for the baby to have its mom there to take care of it.

i was only slightly peeved with this. i accepted her collapse because i felt skyler was so brittle, emotionally exhausted, and weak (no misogyny, ms. gunn!). skyler couldn't hold her water and was looking for any excuse to cave.

this is the part i had an actual problem with.

first, how much actual dirt could skyler (or marie) share with walt jr?

That's the only way I could validate it... that she was just ready to give in...but that's still so weak because Walt had been keeping everything away from her for the most part. She was shielded from so much of the madness that was still occurring day to day that there was no build up happening....unless it was just internal. She had gone too far already to just fold that easily... now if she would have folded AFTER she found out that Frank was murdered, I could have understood it.

out of all the encounters walt and jesse had on the show with Tucco, Gus and others i just think the uncle is not the one to be fucked with.

Something i found very interesting was Todds show of empathy for Walt as he mourned Hanks death. That was probably the best part of the show for me. Up until then it was pretty much accepted that he was a sociopath. His apparent emotional connection with Walt i found intriguing. I can only surmise that that will come up again in some fashion or another in the season finale.
