Walt gave Jesse the vial of Ricin to kill Gus (which he could never work himself up to do), and Jesse hid the Ricin in a pack of cigs...
The cigs were lifted off him by Saul's henchman, and then out the blue Jesse's girlfriends son Brock falls extremely ill.

I think it goes in line with the story. Walt has been fucking Jesse over since the beginning of the 2nd season and everything will come to light...it would cause anyone to explode to know what Jesse knows.

Jesse was getting carried away with this chick he met. He gave Jesse some ricin to poison Gus and put it in a cigarette. The chick's kid gets sick and has all of the signs of ricin poisoning. It turns out that Walt had poisoned the boy with something non-lethal and had Saul lift the cigarette.

But to tell the truth.. The doctors told Jesse all they could find in Brock's system was that "Lily of the Valley" plant (that Walt still could have poisoned Brock with), so it was kind of weird for him to randomly make that Ricin connection.

It was the fact that he thought it was the ricin and that his used it to poison Brock that caused Jesse to side with Walt, when he had been warming up to Gus. It turned out to not be the ricin, but all of Jesse's actions were based on thinking it was the ricin

Jesse confronted Walt in Season 4, accusing him of having Huell steal his cigs with the ricin and poisoning Brock.
Walter played Jesse saying how it was unlikely he could have stolen the ricin cig but it was more likely Gus had it stolen and used it to poison Brock, thus framing Walter and giving Jesse a reason to let Gus kill Walt.
What Jesse realized is that Huell swapped his weed with the same trick and it confirms his initial thought that Walter had the ricin cig stolen. Walt eventually used the Lily berry to poison Brock, and Jesse just realized how manipulative Walter is.
