Actually I believe Marie told Hank "you have to get him".
Remember they are still thinking that Skylar is just an innocent victim in all of this and that she needs to be saved from Walt. They don't really know the extent of her involvement w/ all the money laundering & think that by taking down Walt they are protecting her. They don't realize that if Walt goes down it's a good chance Skylar could go with him.
Marie does know, she knows that Skylar knew the entire time that's why she slapped her in the face and tried to take her baby "to protect her"
Hank still ain't shit for potentially trying to get Walt though.
His job is more important than destroying the family.. Walt isn't even in the game..
Side note... could you imagine that storage unit on storage wars?
empty storage thing with a tarp that looks like a box or some shit... and you bid on it? lol. everybody would pass it up but 1 person probably be like fuck it $500.....
then everybody leaves and they go back to the unit and lift the tarp.. and probably have a heart attack
i'd throw the tarp back down on it...let everybody come laugh at me.. and wait until EVERYONE has left.. im talking EVERYONE
move that money out of there... and move my family out of America...
Euh... dude... you dont make no damn sense.
Hank has what is called integrity.
He isnt a perfect person but he is the only character on the show who been about doing whats "right".
Nobody deserves to get got more then Walt does. Still in the game or not.
i do make sense.
doing what's right...so in the interest of "justice" he should take walt away from his sister in law and his son and young daughter forever?
a great argument someone made for hank's defense that made me switch my views was that walt indirectly got him shot + then I thought about that fucked up phone call about marie having an accident and being in the hospital to distract him which led him to fuck jesse up...walter almost cost him his job then his life...he don't owe walter anything @ this point imo
i do make sense.
doing what's right...so in the interest of "justice" he should take walt away from his sister in law and his son and young daughter forever?
i understand hank and his character and already knew last season he would be the one to find out about walt because he's a bulldog and too good at his job.
it ain't for walter, it's for skylar their son and the baby
Yes Hank should put him away. And it would be to Walt's fam's own benefit.
Its not just about how Hank is built or the interest of justice.
Its about the fact that Walt is a time bomb and a danger to everything and everyone around him. He is the one who knocks remember?
Mike figured it out. He saw it coming. Hank sees it too. What more proof do you need to see this?
ok...that's an interesting point + the son too...it gotta be a lil bit more expensive raising him than the average teen...hank + marie could only do so much if walt gets arrested + the $$$ is confiscated...makes sense...idk tho...in hank's position I've already experienced how deadly walter can be so he might be worried about sky + the family more so in terms of physical safety than being financially secure
Walt is not a time bomb. At every step he's lashed out when his family has been threatened. We catch up with them when he was just chilling and fine being a square.
If anything Hank just turned the timer on for Walt.. the more Walt feels threatened and boxed in the more he makes rash and harsh decisions.
The only concern he was having was Jessee and that's because of how Jessee was acting lately. other than that? What was going to set walt off now? They have more than enough money, his cancer is back, he was thinking bout opening up another car wash... he and Skylar back in the house together.... what was going to set him off and make him a danger to the family this time?
Lydia possibly down the road? but that wouldn't be because of anything he was trying to do..
Oh I get it... you are still under the impression that Walt is this guy who gets stuck doing bad things while trying to do right by his family.
Im sorry but Walt is not that guy. No matter how much you try to rationalise his actions. If he was he would still be cooking for Fring.
You are also dismissing the fact that Hank knows very well that for guys like Walt, the past usually catches up to them. Guys like that dont usually get to just say ok im out.
Should Hank wait to have dead relatives before he decides to remove the danger?
I'm not under ANY IMPRESSION stop that shit right there.
The entire problem is Walt isn't a Mark anymore. That's everyone's problem... that's why people want to call him a monster and all that other mess.
What did hank do when he found out about walt in the garage?
immediately punched him around, tried to rough him up... grab him up and try to scold him etc.. while running down all the shit he did...the real dangerous shit he did cause he see's walt as a MARK right? then what did hank do? try to tell him the terms? lol bring skylar and the kids and then we can talk? like he has some flex power over him? and then when Walt made it understood that you not going to talk to me any kind of way, im no punk.. then what? suddenly he's in a rush to save skylar etc etc
when skylar was upset cause she was scared of all the other drug folks and for the family and walt made it understood HE was the danger...meaning HE is the one they should be afraid of because he ain't gonna let something happen to the family... then she acts out and all this other shit cause suddenly he's a monster simply because he ain't scared and willing to do whatever to protect his family and himself...
Gus tried to have walt killed so walt had the guy who was going to be his replacement killed right?
Gus made threats against his family... so walt killed gus right?
did he do these things trying to expand and take over?
and how does sending walt to jail remove the danger? lol
does him sitting in a cell stop lydia from visiting him and threatening his family if he doesn't explain exactly how to get the purity up?
are they magically safe now that he's in jail broke and alone without his protection?
that makes sense..
I'm so very damn sick of fuckin Jesse.
Lol you assume way too much.
Do you know what they do in real life? They lock up dudes and relocate the family. There is no 100% foolproof plan. However its completely silly to assume that they are actually SAFER around Walt. No one is safer around him.
One of the themes of the show is that Walt will burn down everything around him on his way to "breaking bad". Thats coming from producers, not me. This seems to have gone completely over your head.
And where did you get the idea that whats keeping purity down is Walt withholding info?
Totally disagree. What exactly has he added that couldnt have been accomplished with another fringe character? I think he served his purpose in seasons one and two and what we are witnessing now is just a rehash of the same depressed, self destructive loser that we saw back then. His story is tired and overdone.Without Jesse, this show would just be some bullshit Scarface type mess...Jesse has been key to all of this since they decided to not kill his character off in season one...when the end comes, Jesse will play the most intricate part. he is my favorite character on the show because the writers have done an amazing job with his story...it looked like it was gonna fall apart at the beginning of season 5 because he was on some backseat shit...now he's at the forefront again and it's gonna be great
Breaking Bad Fans Call 911 in Power Outage
The final season of Breaking Bad has left fans on edge each week, with Sunday night’s episode bringing a series record of 5.9 million viewers. But a portion of Connecticut fans missed out on the action when a power outage in Norwalk left Optimum cable subscribers without service for almost two hours, the Associated Press reports.
Breaking Bad fans reacted in a state of panic. Rather that calling the cable service, some viewers dialed 911 to voice their concerns. The Fairfield Police Department was not impressed. The department took to its Facebook page to admonish callers for using 911 to complain about a cable problem, asking them to direct complaints to Cablevision and even warning that misuse of the emergency line could result in arrest. Service was restored just after 11 p.m. — just in time for the 11:35 p.m. rerun of the latest episode.
Assume? this is what has happened on the show
they lock up kingpin drug dealers who aren't snitching on other connects up... and relocate their families for the families safety???
he killed when he or his family were threatened. he only sent skylar and family to hank until he resolved what he needed to resolve for their safety...
and quit the gone over your head bit... what seems to have gone over your head is that the entire premise of the show and the reason he's done everything he's done is so that skylar and the kids are taken care of forever. and so that he could save his life..or way to provide the money for them. that's it....period.
The idea? lydia came to him and asked him to show the new people how to get the purity up.. walt said he left a viable business it wasn't his concern.
lydia just killed the crew and replaced the cook with Todd on the strength of him having learned how to cook under Walt so he could get the purity back up to decent at least from what he's learned from Walt....
Lydia will not let the purity go to shit and lose her shit without either going to walt again like she already has... or threatening him or his family to make sure that SHE covers HER OWN ASS
If you came across $50,000 in bundled cash and saw some dude nearby playing on a merry go round with another two and a half million in a duffle bag would you call the cops? Well, either would the broke redneck who found Jesse. So how the hell did he end up in the DEA's interrogation room?
Please don't ruin the thread by quoting that idiot.Euh... dude... you dont make no damn sense.

Its implied that the redneck called the cops or ambulance.A few thoughts and predictions:

Jesse is incapable of playing chess. And even if he was...to what end? What would be the purpose of getting caught with millions in cash? Wheres the benefit? My guess is that Jesse allowed himself to be captured. Why I don't know, but he's playing chess not checkers.
Alot of his angst stems from the Grey Matter circumstances but this makes no sense what so ever. The ricin is most likely for the CEO of Grey matter.
